Correct. This ios one metric to look at in the big picture on determining what to do.
With all metric we want the most accurate information possible.

When I read "think tank" I see "stink tank". They don't impress me at all. And you like all other Trump/MAGA haters rely on broad brushing to convince yourselves that everyone who doesn't share your political beliefs is a redneck moron who lives in a trailer. That is just absurd.
Logical goals can flow from emotions though. I mean that has been my journey on the issue. When I was a little one, we used to have regular inflows and outflows of migrant workers mainly related to tobacco prior to the ending of the allotment system. I thought Mexicans were weird and a bit scary I suppose, and maybe that is what drives some people's views today. I, however, as an adult have read many stories over the years where illegal migrant workers have really been victimized by catastrophic work-related injuries and such. The logical position I now take is very much driven by those stories really pissing me off. I think we need to do whatever we need to do to get immigrants in legally to service the industries they work in in the numbers we need them. We should also get rid of the illegals just as a matter of health and safety alone.

Smart people learn as much as they can. They then decide what they believe by knowing all sides of an issue. That requires thinking and reading and learning. Something stupid people are too lazy to do.

There may be a mistake here and there, but a legal immigrant being deported is an anomaly. Only those that have committed immigration violations or crimes are being deported. In both of those cases, they are eligible for deportation under immigration law. Some are detained while being investigated.
People here ins his country illegally are the overwhelming majority of those that are being deported.

You cannot handle the truth. There is still an argument for deportation but this study must be considered. MAGA cannot handle complexity. They are simple minded people living in a complex world. As hard as they try, they cannot chaange the truth.
