"i'm just not a Trump guy, i'm a policy guy"-PAUL RYAN did not hold 1 SINGLE EVENT for Trump in 2016, that's why he should be the GOP nominee in 2024!

To hell with Trump. to hell with the Freedom Caucus

Trump to Paul Ryan after Access Hollywood tape:

"I get you," Trump said. "You're just a Boy Scout. You're also kind of religious, aren't you?"...

"i'm a devout Catholic" - Ryan retorted

What makes you think that Paul Ryan would be able to defeat the Left in 2024? Or any other year?

I just don't see liberals crossing over in the massive amounts he would need in order to vanquish AOC, or whomever else the D's were to put up.

Nice logic.

I didn’t hold a single event for Trump in 2016 either.

NOSTRA 2024!

Pelosi watched the Obama presidency from the sidelines thanks to Boehner and Ryan, my friends

Ryan is strong both physically and mentally. i like men like that, so there's a kind of...allure he has on me

You forgot that he retired from politics didn't you?
every soldier has to rest, before going out there on the battlefield!

Why do you think that Ryan would win?

Do you think he stands a better chance if Trump wins or if Biden wins this fall?

Ryan v Biden easier? or is Ryan v AOC a better match for Ryan?
Ryan is a disciple of Jack Kemp. dont ever underestimate someone like that. i guarantee ya Ryan would beat "AOC", my friend

Ryan retired from Washington to invest all that hard-earned Koch brothers money and become the next young billionaire. Why would he consider going back to that place when he's already accomplished his goal ?

The libs aren't going to back him anyhow.

1. I think Ryan is okay, and frankly would make a better president than anybody I can think of on the Dem side.

2. I think there are many moderate lib/dems who have left their party, or maybe better said that the party went too far left and left them behind. I kinda doubt most of them would cross-over to vote for Trump this year, but if the Dems don't move back towards the Center then it's conceivable they'll leave the Dem Party and maybe form their own. And maybe get some Independents and moderates on the right to join with them. Might not win the WH for awhile, but a handful of 3rd party senators could have quite a say in which bills pass a filibuster.

3. If this country elects a far left democrat for president who is further left of Obama then God help us. Or a brain-dead guy like Biden who would be easily manipulated and quite possibly not make through his 4 years in office. If the Repubs retain the WH and the Senate then it'll be very important for them to do a good job or the press will crucify them and we'll get a dose of far left socialistic policies in 2024.

4. I don't know if the Dems would nominate AOC in 2024, but I can't see her winning any state other than the deep blue ones who would vote for Donald Duck over any Repub. It's a far left party now, and there's nobody I like over there.

Back to Ryan, I think he has more self-control and discretion than Trump (who doesn't). I think he's more of a conservative, especially a fiscal conservative and I think we need that in our next president. Both sides know him and I think respect him, so that would be a change.

Why thank you!

A lot of voters feel that Ryan was very ineffectual in his time as Speaker, who really failed at guiding much of an agenda through. The fact that he announced his retirement so far in advance of the midterms really hurt him. He shouldn't have accepted the job if he wasn't going to see it through.

Ryan was MANIACAL about passing tax reform...and he got it done

just like he will do everything when he gets elected president: from great health care to full employment, from the border adjustment tax to closing to carried interest loophole, from building the wall to cutting taxes down to 0

RYAN! RYAN! RYAN! RYAN! RYAN! RYAN!
