Ilhan Omar urges public to film ICE, chides agent who shot Renee Good for getting 'in front of moving car'

Yeah we've known for over 10 years this is something they do. Are you stupid?

Who was the president in 2014? One would think he would’ve had that addressed…

Instead of learning from error, Omar encourages people to double down on the same behavior. Furthermore, she blames the ICE officer for getting in front of a moving car. It's good to know that going forward everyone now has Omar's blessing to run over protestors in the streets since they shouldn't be in front of a moving car.

She shouldn't attack the ICE officer for getting in front of a moving car. Because he didn't.

She should attack him for getting in front of a stationary car with a person behind the wheel. Stupid move. If his training says that, the training is bad. If it doesn't, he's negligent.

The problem in the US is that there are only two political parties, and so everything gets more extreme. Trump and Noem were causing huge problems with their words soon after this happened. So of course the left is going to do similar things.

The most famous politicians are the fuckers with the loudest mouths and the most sensationalist bullshit.

Because that is how the system functions. Don't like it, change the electoral system to Proportional Representation, then you might get politicians who are actually doing things for the people, representing them, instead of looking to make a name for themselves to get the big bucks.

And apparently changed nothing, but hey, at least it was “investigated”…
I don't know if it changed anything. But it gives us evidence that this is something these people do regularly. And here you are hoping to keep things the same.

To me, what is most regrettable about this, is the same thing that is regrettable about what happened to Renee Good.

Nothing Renee Good was doing on the street in Minneapolis was actually going to help anyone.
Protesting is fine, but I am not sure she even knew what she was protesting, and sitting in the street blocking traffic, isn't going to help Illegal Foreign Nationals, isn't going to stop ICE from doing their job, and could be equally effective if she parked her car and held up a sign.

Representative Omar's comments are just as useless, and possibly ignorantly careless, with the threat of endangering others. It's completely unnecessary, could be handled in a better and much more effective manner, but she is willing to skuttle that idea for absolute and utter political nonsense, while pretending it is somehow going to help someone or protect their rights.

Extremely well put. 👍

The error was made by ICE.

Enforcing the law enacted by our duly-elected representatives? Or trying to obstruct that enforcement?
They were not trying to enforce the law. ICE was there unconstitutionally.

The officer did not get in front of her car he was in an offset position. When she gunned her car it veered left putting the officer on the driver's side front which is proven by the bullet hole in the windshield.

I work and pay taxes. I don't leech and steal like she and others do. No, once again, you are wrong. People that leech are a cancer and she is leading the charge.
I worked for 42 years and pay taxes, so what you do and pay doesn't mean anything. If you support Trump, you support a man who is a leech and a thief. If you voted for Trump, you are part of the cancer.

They were not trying to enforce the law.
Says who?

The law or mentally ill libturds?

ICE was there unconstitutionally.
ICE, which was created under the law and given laws to enforce, is now "there unconstitutionally" on American streets?

The rubber room is ready for you!

As I understand it, as a motorist, you are not supposed to impede law enforcement activities. Should you choose to impede law enforcement activities, “drive baby drive” is not a good strategy….. it’s beyond the assumption of common sense.
So you're saying they both made bad decisions? I agree.
