Ah, I should've known that. I had a girlfriend years ago who went to AA and I got a real education. I had no concept of what alcohol and drug abuse was about until I met some people in the program.

And for those who don't know, a 'friend of dorothy' is a gay man. In my neck of the woods, they just call them 'friends' for short.
