Today's Democrat party is not interested in elections, they just want to take over. They were taking over the judicial system and now we still have radical judges, prosecutors, etc.

Elections are a big part of their agenda, so they are very much interested in controlling the outcomes of elections by leaning them into be in their favor if at all possible.

If it is a violation of free speech in principle or fact for a sitting President to have as a directive to ferret out, prosecute, stop the domestic terrorists, i.e. those doing arson, vandalism, assault/battery/murder, block access to businesses/streets/highways/sidewalks,bridges etc., or otherwise planning, funding, promoting, instigating, carrying out violence against U.S. citizens, then we are done as a country. What we have here is a pretext to violate somebody's rights to speech and privacy, whether actually guilty of anything or not.

My suspicion is that somebody might be plotting, funding, and/or planning events that maybe not actually be intended to be violent, but the Trump administration or future administrations might investigate anyway. What this directive does is make it more risky to oppose and protest of politics and policies the president and his party, and that is dangerous to our rights to speech, assembly, and privacy. Yeah, it ain't in the wording of the directive, but the president and his administration could interpret it to squelch the opposition. It could very well be abused to target people who have no intent to commit violence. How does one determine that intention ahead of any act?
