They got them because there’s some government program that requires a certain percentage of contracts to go to minority-owned businesses.

I was not asking what the person who was awarded the contracts work was like ... Nor their minority status.
I was asking if they got the contract as a preferred minority, because of their contacts in the political community that hold the purse strings.
You are suggesting that it is wrong they get the contracts because they are a minority and have preferred status.
That doesn't make a difference ... We all elect the officials that believe the proper thing to do is throw money at a problem.
I am more concerned about the corruption in the distribution of funds that are approved and allocated ...
Funds for the purpose of serving a minority community and advancing the opportunities of minority contractors.
