In 2020, companies were forced to shut down for two weeks every time an employee tested positive.

They don’t want a single, stubborn employee to close them down.

They also want to send a message to the public that they are a safe place to visit……all employees are vaccinated and wear masks

What companies? Only one I remember voluntarily closing were ones that had massive outbreaks. Haven't heard of such a case since then

Interesting, I had not heard that some companies were doing this. Also interesting is that, after a quick check into this, 28 states have passed laws banning the practice basically making smoking a protected class. How insane.

It i worth pointing out that a company choosing to ban something is far different than the government mandating it be so - you actually can work somewhere else if you want to continue smoking.

Summa Health Systems here in Akron Ohio made it so all their employees had to be tobacco free several years ago.

A guy who catches Covid because he didn't get vaxxed is going to cost the company a shitload of money when they have to send everyone home for the day when they bring in a cleaning crew. And it's 100% avoidable at this point.

Listen man...and this is so simple I can't believe anyone can't understand it.

You get the vax so you are protected...but the unvaxxed must be fired to protect the vaxxed who are already protected by the vax. The vaxxed can still get the virus and spread it to other vaxxed people, but it is the unvaxxed that are the issue because the vax is mandated. It is the mandate that somehow amplifies the danger from the unvaxxed to the vaxxed even though the vax protects them from the virus.

How much of our personal freedom and right to make our own decisions in regards our health are we willing to have taken away from us before we say enough?
