I couldn't care less about the "slap", heard round the world... but what the Hollywood smut mongers are doing as they race to show they are not racist in their cancel culture, is cancelling the ability of every other actor and investor in the movies Will Smith already made or started, and preventing them from earning any money on their work or risk. Yeah, they are going to "get" this actor so they can claim moral superioroty as they "get" other people. Meanwhile they destroy the financial security of hundreds of others who did nothing but go to work, or use their own money to finance a film.
The guy showed that he was a jerk, but let other people make their own choice as to whether or not they want to see any of his films. He has not been charged nor convicted of a crime. Hollywood excused two years of violent riots, arson and cop killings, but they flip out over an actor slapping some dude with one swat. There are a lot of other people to be considered here besides the one actor. Don't hire him for future roles maybe, but don't steal opportunity from others who worked and need the income their work should generate.
They refuse to condone violence? Has anyone seen what Hollywood movies represent? Hollywood has injected more violence into American culture than any other group in history. If it isn't violence it is gratuitous skin and sex with open depravity. The "Acadamy" is a bunch of self serving deviants who try to pretend they have morals, when they are the most immoral people in the Western Hemisphere.
(and consider one possibility) they are both actors, the "victim" immediately put his hands behind his back and clasped them so he would not be tempted to hit back. Yeah, it could very well have been a plan, their stupid self congratulatory show is sinking fast because of nonstop "virtuosity" as they give out trophies for selling violence and smut, but they have a narrative to sell and who better to sell a narrative than two famous left wing actors on a stage the far left can't stop watching.
If Hollywood goes the next 5 years years with no violence in any of their movies, then we will know they meant what they said. Anyone want to make a bet?
