It ain't the judges fault. It's the fault of the lawyers who drafted and defended this bill. If you put a stinking pile of monkey dirt in front of a judge and he says, "Hey, that's a stinking pile of monkey dirt!" you don't blame the judge, you blame the lawyers. Fix it today and move on.
