I would like to see deflation. The inflation since 2020 is significant, but as you displayed, not the worst ever, Trump should have metered with statement by saying AMONG the worst in our nation’s history.

Lets take his claim about gas prices. His big claim was that the US has increased oil production by 600 thousand barrels a day.
which is true. Two things. One, the US Oil Patch has been increasing production by that much and more mostly, every year since Obama's second term, Benedict Donalds first term, and Bidens term. Except of course during the Covid bubble that effected both Benedict and Biden. Second, the world oil market controls the price of gasoline, not US oil fields production.
