If Only Educated Folks Could Vote.....

Progress. Can you condemn anything Protestants or Eastern Orthodox or Mormons have ever done or only Catholics?
All sects have issues. Again, some things done in God's name aren't based on the Bible.
You condemn the Catholic Church but do you also condemn Christianity itself? If not, shouldn't I see that as hypocritical when you condemn Islam for what is done in its name?
The difference is Islam is commanded to do violent things and to treat people differently.

Christianity -- not so much.

Islam permits war in certain circumstances, and provides guidelines for how to conduct it:
  • Self-defense
Muslims are permitted to wage war in self-defense.

  • Protection of Islam
Muslims are permitted to wage war to protect their faith or territory when it is under attack.

  • Protection of Muslims
Muslims are permitted to wage war when another state is oppressing its own Muslims.

  • Jihad
The religious duty to struggle, or "holy war", is a term associated with military struggles to benefit Islam. However, the term "jihad" actually means "struggle" or "exertion".

  • Rules of engagement
Islamic law sets strict rules for the conduct of war, including limiting fighting to combatants and prohibiting the use of force for revenge or material gain.

  • Quranic guidance
The Quran provides guidance on when and how to fight, including the verse that commands Muslims to fight in God's cause against those who fight them.

Doesn't sound so very different from any other religion. The OT is filled with genocide.

Allah's Messenger (ï·º) said, "The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. "O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him."

I like "weighted voting" as a new method for counting votes.

Each vote has a maximum value of ten points. An 18-year-old with no job and lacking a HS diploma gets one point. Everyone else is scaled based on that. I have a doctorate, I'm a veteran and also worked for the Feds for five years. I paid a lot of taxes for many years. I worked in responsible positions for 40 years or so, including a vast amount of international transactions. I could go on.

My vote would count for ten points.

People who have never worked a job in the private sector would max out at five points. People who have made their living by pretending to be someone else or reading words that others have written for them max out at three points.

You get the idea. The point would be to ensure that Democrats are never elected.

I believe your quote refers to an actual war with Jewish tribes in the first years of Mohammed. I believe it was not an order for all time but, in all honesty, I've tried to read the Quran but could never get through it:

Muslims generally treated Jews throughout history much better than Christians treated Jews.

How's that working in the Middle East at the moment?

Wrong, Judea and Samaria are Biblical terms Israelis use for the land Arabs call Palestine.
Does Israel teach their children to hate Muslims? Do they dress up their children in little suicide bomber outfits? Do they teach their children they will go to Paradise if they're killed killing Muslims?

Again, you equate what is done in the name of a religion with the religion itself. Does the Quran mention children in little suicide bomber outfits?

As for religious toleration, remember, any Jew can go to Israel and become a full citizen, Muslims cannot, even Muslims born in what is now Israel have no right to return.

A distinction without a difference.

Someone lied to you.
Foreigners may naturalize as Israeli citizens after residing in Israel for at least three of the previous five years while holding permanent residency. Candidates must be physically present in the country at the time of application, be able to demonstrate knowledge of the Hebrew language, have the intention of permanently settling in Israel, and renounce any foreign nationalities.[78] Although Arabic was previously an official language and has a special recognized status,[79] there is no similar knowledge stipulation for it as part of the naturalization process.[80] All of these requirements may be partially or completely waived for a candidate if they: served in the Israel Defense Forces or suffered the loss of a child during their military service period, are a minor child of a naturalized parent or Israeli resident, or made extraordinary contributions to Israel.[81] Successful applicants are required to swear an oath of allegiance to the State of Israel.[78]

I think you are the one lying to me. From the Wiki page you referenced:
Every Jew has the unrestricted right to immigrate to Israel and become an Israeli citizen.

But we weren't talking about Jews getting Israeli citizenship, were we? We were talking about Muslims. You claimed they couldn't get Israeli citizenship.

I showed you they could.

You're done.
They could if they were allowed to return. They are NOT allowed. They have been trying since 1948.

Israel has consistently rejected the right of Palestinian refugees to return to the country:

  • Demographic threat
Israel views the return of Palestinian refugees as a demographic threat to the Jewish people.

  • Legislation
Israel has passed legislation to hinder the return of Palestinian refugees and reclaim their land.

  • Institutionalized discrimination
Israel has imposed a system of institutionalized racial discrimination against Palestinians who remained on the land.

  • Alternative solutions
Israel has stated that the solution to the Palestinian refugee problem is to resettle them in other states.
