The CDC has asll sorts of data (which has been posted numerous times on this site) stating that mask wearing reduced the number of infections.

There are also many examples of nations thsat strictly adhered to mask weraring doing FAR better than we have. South Korea comes to mind. Most of their population is DENSELY packed around Seoul and yet they have had less than 2,000 deaths.
