Mexico says it will not accept migrants deported by Texas under new state law

A simple moratorium on immigration is all we need.
He can't legally do that... Trump tried, he was sued, and he lost in the Courts. Congress may be able to do that...if they change the laws on the books and renege any treaty/agreements. Immigration is constitutionally in the hands of Congress, not the President....our presidents simply execute the laws congress put forth, within the budget they are allotted by congress, is my understanding of it...

Mine it and post snipers and mg nests and mortar pits, with a few air strikes against the larger herds.

Jailing employers and fining stock holders for their companies hiring them would work best, but neither Party is going to do that.

Example:

"In a non-prosecution agreement with the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Speed Fab Crete, a Texas-based builder, admitted it illegally employed individuals not authorized to work in the United States, and agreed to forfeit $3 million to the U.S. Treasury for use in promoting law enforcement activities related to immigration enforcement."

Of course not having to hire legal citizens for decades was worth a hell of a lot more than $3 million, so the companies that do occasionally get harassed just laugh it off and deduct the chump change from their hookers and party accounts.
I dont think the company made any extra money at all unless it was the only competitor in its market that was hiring illegals

The reason is that when every company does it no one is getting rich

They are all just trying to stay afloat and not go bankrupt

When I was a boy, we lived in Wyoming for a while. Dad’s work took us there. While there, Dad would tell us about the Wyoming one warning rule. An example.

If you saw a Tourist climbing into a field or paddock with a Bull you would warn them once. Hey that ain’t a friendly critter, get out of there while you can.

If he remained, it was on him. If he got gored or stomped to death, it was his fault. He was warned.

Now I liked that rule. Give a man fair warning that he is headed into trouble, and then stand back and see what happens.

Now of course, the one giving the warning is the bad guy. He wants the person being warned to fail. And when the person fails, it’s not because they did something dumb. It was the negative thoughts that doomed the victim of his own stupidity.

What was the character played by Donald Sutherland in Kelly’s Heroes? The one who kept blaming the crewman for Negative Waves? Always with the negative waves man.

It used to be that we respected people who pointed out problems so we could reduce or eliminate as many points of failure possible. It’s how we got to the Moon after all. A lot of people trying to imagine everything that could go wrong so solutions could be found. Now we would denounce them for having negative waves and wanting us to fail.

You blame Biden. Yet it was Biden and the Democrats who proposed legislation that would streamline the process to speed up deportations. Nope. We don’t want that. We want an impossible solution to work, and we want one that the courts will say is illegal to be ok anyway. We want the issue to run on.

That’s what the Republicans said. They wanted the issue to campaign on.

You aren’t angry at Republicans for playing politics with national security. You are angry at Biden for obeying the laws on the books.
Ok, as the only smart person in the room, tell us what is your idea to stop the illegal alien invasion?

Re-elect Biden, smoke more pot, and just dont worry about what happens next?

The border crisis is much worse than when biden took office

And 10 times worse than 1986 when Reagan signed the last amnesty for illegals

Having Gov Abbott in Texas instead of the democrat fake hispanic Beto O’Rourke has made a big difference in Texas where the migrant invasion is much reduced

Having Trump in the white house again will be a big asset for the rule of law

Perhaps so. It certainly is impossible to understand how anyone could object to the principle of any nation regulating its borders as it sees fit. Every nation that ever existed has done this to the extent that it was capable.
Democrats object to border security because they want to fundamentally change America

What will help a lot is preventing American commies form running shelters and feeding them there as well. when Mexico has to start footing the bill themselves these migrations would end and those fake 'refugee camps' emptied out overnight.
I agree

Defund the NGO’s instead of the police

We had restrictions for decades. the only thing that changed was we became a banana republic with zero laws that will stand up in kangaroo courts run by political appointees based entirely on whim.

Sure they can; they never pass on savings from cheaper labor to consumers. They pocket the difference in pay. This soon drives out honest business owners, but the additional profits remain, and lessens competition down the road.

Usually not

Even the most honest business owners are not willing to go bankrupt for a principal

They learn to play ball

First. Pass the legislation that was proposed in a bipartisan manner. That would streamline the deportations process wouldn’t it?

Then if that needs more tweaking again work out the answer legislatively. You see just saying the law is bad is fine. If all you want to do is complain. But if you actually want to address the issue, you need to change the law. You can’t ignore the law. You can’t pretend it doesn’t exist.

And so far, all the RW solutions have violated the laws, violated international agreements and treaties, or just plain stupid.

Warm fuzzy feel good thoughts may make you feel better, but they won’t solve shit.

The House bill is far better

The Senate bill enshrines 5,000 migrants a day and does nothing to impede the drug smugglers

Enforcement of laws belongs to the executive branch. This is all Biden's failure. It is a matter of policy, not money.

Congress holds the purse ... you want Biden to use his personal funds ... that's $200,000 per year ...

IN the United States, only the House Republicans can initiate spending bills right now, which bills have Republicans sent to Biden desk that would increase the size and capacity of these asylum review boards? ...

We should stop asylum seekers at the border ... and check their request on the spot ... the law doesn't allow for economic asylum, but there's no money to screen for that ... at the border ...

I also think House Republicans need to reimburse Texas and Florida for all these damn bus tickets ... that's a FEDERAL responsibility ... state tax-payers shouldn't be funding this ...

Jesus no wonder the Republicans keep losing. You idiots can’t figure out how to get a win.

Ok. Here is a secret of life. Something your Mommy should have told you. You can’t have it all. You demand all or nothing, a vast majority of the time, you will get nothing.

Let’s pretend for a moment. Trump wins in November. He doesn’t have the supermajority in the Senate. He won’t have a large majority in the house, and that is best case scenario. So he doesn’t get any legislation. He once again tries the executive order bit. You supporters cheer and declare the problem solved, like you did before. The courts put a stop to it and you ignore that because it isn’t published on RW propaganda websites. Nothing changes.

Instead you could make some progress. Perhaps not as much as you want. But some. You reduce the amount of illegals coming in. You streamline the deportation process. And you make some progress. But no. You want it all, and you get nothing.

So immigration will be an issue in 2024. And 2026. And it will still be an issue in 2028. Because even if you win in November. It won’t be by a big enough margin to get what you want. And each month more of those Illegals will become naturalized citizens. And more and more of them will vote.

You had a chance to really make some progress. But you wanted it all. And you were dumb enough to imagine it would work in November.

So the only way you can think opposing the bill was a good thing is if you imagine that a vast majority will come over to your side. So far, nope. Another all or nothing gamble. How have those worked out so far?
