'If it’s not Trump, I won’t vote': CPAC exposes schism as attendees rip into 'traitor' DeSantis

Nope, I've never voted for a democrats. And never will.
SURE YOU WILL. You just said that if Trump runs, you would not vote for him based purely on your personal dislike of the guy not his policies. One less vote for him is one MORE vote for whatever POS the democrats run as next bag-man for their socialist-Soros-globalist agenda.

You Republicans just don't know what "conservatism" actually is.
And obviously, you don't understand the magnitude of the threat we face with radical far leftist-progressive incursion. My conservatism fights to save the country. Your form of "conservatism" is what got us in this mess by doing nothing in the first place.

30% of GOP voters would support Trump if he ran 3rd party!

Actually, historically, more than 90% of GOP voters prefer and would vote for Trump. And I think it likely the VAST number of them would follow him even to a new party rather than stick with the party which few are happy with, has blown opportunity after opportunity, and has given us the likes of Romney and McCain. An increasing number of people realize that business-as-usual definitely is not getting it done and see the solution more tied to the MAN than to a PARTY.

And like him or not, Trump GOT IT DONE for America and most everyone in the country in some way more so than any other candidate in recent history in his brief, embattled four years.

And I see Trump 2.0 now with four years experience with democrats under his belt coming out 4X more balls-to-the-wall in getting it done than even his first term.

Or we can have four more years of Joe Biden and worse.

Is that really what I said, or just what you wanted me to say? You might re-read what I said. And pay close attention to the word "conservative" and try to apply it to Trump. You'll notice the the words "Trump and Conservative" don't go together.
Example: Over $6 trillion spent in 4 years. That alone automatically makes him a liberal.
His "Platinum Plan" makes him a socialist.
His bump stock ban makes him anti-2A
His funding of Planned Parenthood, makes him pro choice.
Then there's all the tax deduction he and the GOP majority eliminated
And the debt ceiling he eliminated for 2 years.
4 omnibus bills that Trump signed into law.

Seriously, do I need to post more? Because I have more. Trump's taken his republican supporters so far left of center, yall can't even see center anymore. And I'm still standing right of center wondering where TF have all the republicans gone?

Trump is a Republican. Not a conservative.

And obviously, you don't understand the magnitude of the threat we face with radical far leftist-progressive incursion. My conservatism fights to save the country. Your form of "conservatism" is what got us in this mess by doing nothing in the first place.

Yes, I understand it. And that's why I don't vote for democrats or liberal republicans. I only vote for fiscal conservatives.

This is what I've been saying all along: The Republican candidate - whoever it is - must either BE Trump or have Trump's full support. Otherwise, cancel the election and just give it to the zombie.

Is it even going to matter? Trump is a liberal with a Republican badge.

" I am the chosen one ..."

List the conservative candidates running for office.

LMAO... It's only just a short 1 year and 8 months until the next election. With such a short time between then and now, surely no one else even has time to jump in the race, right?

The concept of trump is much more appealing than trump himself because the concept is based on lies. We all know that now, he's proven time and time again.

I'm stealing this. Very accurate statement. Because when you dig down into Trumps actual record, it's very liberal.
The $8 trillion he spent in just 4 years. It took Obama 8 years to spend that much.
4 omnibus bills he signed into law. In fact, Trump only vetoed 1 spending bill in his 4 years.

He's got one hell of a sales pitch.

He is no simple con man, he is a cult leader. That's why he kept having rallies all the time. Lies need to be reinforced and often otherwise they fall apart.

Yes, good point.

I wonder what would happen if Trump declared for both the GOP and the Dem primary. Obviously, the only thing that will keep him from winning the GOP primary would be death. But the Democratic primary would be a close call, depending on how many states only allow voters to vote in one of the major primaries.

I think that he would win the Dem primary, but not at all as certain as his winning the GOP primary. Maybe some Rep and some Dem would run a third party campaign.

The other forum I'm on, is full of die hard Trump supporters. Every time he has a rally, heck every time he blow his nose, there's a thread posted about him.

It was funny, because before Trump started bashing DeSantis, they were all in favor of him. Lot's of threads about the good DeSantis was doing in FL. And wanting him to be Trumps VP. They couldn't say enough good things about him. But the day Trump dis'd him the first time, like cults do, suddenly DeSantis was part of the establishment. Now he's a pedophile.

I'm like how does someone go from being supported for legit reasons, to being the worst of the worst, based on a pack of lies?

And even funnier, if Trump won both primaries.
He'd be debating himself.
