If evolution is the cornerstone of science...

Look around, it's obvious. Just yesterday tens of thousands, perhaps millions, across the country held false demonstrations against the president. Just think of the litter they left behind for someone else to clean up.
LOL It was millions, and while I was at a family gathering, in the past demonstrations against this criminal administration I have been at, I saw no litter problem. In fact, I saw little problem at all, just a lot of peaceful concerned citizens exercising their Constitutional rights to object to idiotic rightwingnut policy.

I was there, they seemed pretty real to me and I don't recall seeing any more litter than usual.
How many attended that demonstration. Many across the country had fewer than a dozen demonstrators.

Rendering my opinion is hardly "obsession".

The concept of "natural selection" is as unscientific as creationism is held to be.
So say you. And your PhD in biology is from which major university? Have you even taken one college level Biology course? One course in Chemistry, Physics, or Geology? Just why do you think your uneducated opinion trumps that of millions of degreed biologists from all over the world?

Many attend these demonstrations out of curiosity, or because they have nothing better to do. Some attend out of a misplaced sense of duty. Many are actually causing the problems/solutions that they are demonstrating against. Like fat people demonstrating against the costs of obesity.

Do you think they have been good stewards by use of their knowledge? Thanks to the experts at Monsanto thousands of acres of farmlands can no longer produce crops, groundwater is polluted with their chemicals, etc.

Were you actually at any of those demonstrations? If you were, did you talk to any of the people there? You see, I was there, I talked to many of the people. At the demonstration many Vets were carrying signs against the policies that were depriving them of the care they have earned in the service of this nation. I talked to many of them, and they were both angry and saddened by what this admin is doing to them. By the end of summer, there will be many farmers at the demonstrations sincerely regretting their votes for Trump as their crops rot in the fields. Already we are seeing this in the Southern states. The demonstrations will continue and get bigger as more and more people have their lives and incomes damaged by this criminal administration.

I agree that Trump is going too far in many respects, but everyone is late to the party. Like people complaining about the cost of healthcare when they've been trying to kill themselves all their lives.

We all lined up, single file, on one side of the street and probably averaged 1 person every 5 feet for a length of 5 miles. I'd guess there were 5,000 or so people. There were several other such demonstrations in neighboring counties.

We didn't block intersections, driveways, or stores, it was all peaceful and festive, no anger or hatred. Judging by the honks and waves, the support was pretty overwhelming.

No, Trump received the most votes, so he is President. Which means we get to experience what his policies create. Only then can we judge and demonstrate against the policies that damage us and our nation. And we are going to see a lot more damage to the nation before the 2026 mid-terms.

Here is Salem, Oregon, that was also my experience.

So you followed instructions without considering local conditions. Hardly indicative of observational ability on your part.
The seed and instructions are tailored for my region. I took the temperature of the soil as well. Cool season grasses are supposed to germinate at a certain temperature. They need warmer soil to germinate properly. I'll never plant grass as early as instructed by the experts again. I'll wait until the ground is warmer.

To flesh it out a bit. Taking daytime temps of soil in the spring can be misleading as daytime temps warm the soil down a few inches. However, when night temps fall that heat is lost and the surface cools below what the seed likes. The proper way to measure soil temp for the purpose of planting grass is to measure the temp at least a foot down to be assured that the soil will remain uniformly warm for the seed.

And that has what to do with your obsession on evolution? Biological evolution is a fact. Proven by the DNA in every cell in your body and the whole of the fossil record. The Theory concerns what the driving force behind evolution is.
Science is always admitting they got it wrong with one thing or another. It's just a matter of time until they say a great big "Oops" regarding evolution.

Not true, scientists are NOT always admitting they got it wrong, they are always finding new data and getting a more accurate picture of nature. Newton wasn't wrong, Einstein was just more precise.

Newton certainly didn't admit he was wrong. ;)
