If evolution is the cornerstone of science...

Evolution is the cornerstone of biological science.

I don't know what you mean by "cornerstone" ... but Astronomy is the foundation of modern science ... Physics is the first floor, Chemistry the second ... third floor Biology is built on cell structure and metabolism, the things that make us alive ... ToE is only used as a framework for classifying organisms ... you seem fixated on your hatred ...

Galileo wasn't imprisoned for natural selection ... he was imprisoned for heliocentric solar system ... and that's just the foundation of Western science ... most of science comes from the Islamic world and the Greeks before then ...

The opposite of evolution is stagnation ... if you hate one, do you love the other? ...

I think we have a winner!

No. You're just fixated on that because you see evolution, and science, as a threat to ignorance. Which is the cornerstone of MAGA.
Don't kill the messenger. ;)

Why evolution is the cornerstone of biology?

"The cornerstone of biology Just as human history explains the geopolitical configurations of our world today, modern biological systems are a direct result of their evolutionary past. Hence, evolutionary theory is the cornerstone of the discipline of biology (Rutledge and Warden, 2000)."

I started making America great again decades before Trump, in my little corner of the country. It doesn't take much brains, but it does require commitment and hard work, something that has been educated out of our people. In fact, our 'education' is killing us. :omg:

Yep. Those elitist pricks. You'll show them!
I have shown them that I wasn't put here to buy every shiny or tasty thing that they produce. Although I do buy a lot of necessary stuff for my business.

What I meant by 'education' is miseducation. The knowledge most needed is largely absent from our educational system. If our society is indicative of our educational system, we are an abysmal failure. Wouldn't you agree?

I think you are providing a prime example of that.
Here's a recent example of my intelligence, as compared to that of others.

A street closure sign, due to road construction several blocks ahead, was placed in the lane of traffic forcing vehicles into the oncoming lane and frequently stopping traffic in that lane. However, the bike lane next to the curb was open for bikes to freely proceed. This was stupid, dangerous, and inconvenient for motorists travelling in that lane. After a couple of weeks of veering around the sign and into the oncoming lane of traffic, I moved the sign into the bike lane. Bikes can go around the sign if there is no danger from traffic from behind or they can go onto the sidewalk for a few feet then return to the bike lane.

Of the dozens, scores, or hundreds of vehicles that were so affected by the misplaced sign only I took action to correct it. An indictment of the person who placed the sign, and of all who failed to remedy it.

Do I get a cookie?

Well, going back to phonics seems to help kids learn to read better (reading skills are needed for all disciplines).

And that has what to do with your obsession on evolution? Biological evolution is a fact. Proven by the DNA in every cell in your body and the whole of the fossil record. The Theory concerns what the driving force behind evolution is.

Rendering my opinion is hardly "obsession".

The concept of "natural selection" is as unscientific (and mysterious) as creationism is held to be.
