In fiscal year 2025 (starting October 1, 2024), ICE has arrested a significant number of individuals with no criminal convictions. Data from June indicates that 65% of the over 204,000 people booked into detention had no criminal convictions, according to the Cato Institute. Furthermore, over 93% of those detained had no history of violent offenses, according to the American Immigration Council.

If we have to wait until people are convicted to arrest them it could cause a backlog. Is this your vision for Lucky Town?

That right (to own guns by illegal aliens) is not clear as some judges have ruled that the 2nd Amendment does give them the rights and yet the Gun Control Act of 1968 prevents them from doing so.

However, that is truly a moot point, given that buying a gun would make the illegal alien visible to be found and arrested by ICE, so common sense means they don't do it.
