POTUS has unlimited authority as the nation's Chief Executive and embodiment of the Executive branch of government, to declassify or to classify anything he chooses. The question I'd like to have answered is whether there is a protocol that is in place to document declassification of information and if there IS, whether the material they seized was on that list.

If he neglected to declassify the papers he had in his possession, he'd have done nothing more than several other past presidents have done. There have been disputes between presidential libraries and the national archives in the past and it was always hashed out by lawyers, NOT ARMED FUCKING AGENTS in a predawn raid.
Obama took millions of documents from his time in office and nary a word was said. I think the decision to try to run roughshod, once again, over Trump, is going to blow up in their faces in 88 days.
