My dad was dying of cancer and I was witnessing my mom and dad not wanting to lose each other.

And Freddie sang. Oh my Highlander. What a movie. What a song.

I played this song over and over at night till my dad passed. And at his funeral. I don't know what it was about Freddie but I really believed he sang every note because he meant it.

And it helped me thru this painful period. Damn it. Freddie was taken too early but boy we were blessed with the years he gave us.

There are so few like this. I remember when I was in my brother in laws bedroom in a house on Davisville in Toronto and the song was played for the first time. Roundabout.

I was in the Gardens when Plant said shut up. We're going to do a slow song.

And introduced Stairway to Heaven to the world. And he really did tell every one to shut up.

Moments happen. Hopefully you are blessed enough to catch them. Being in the business I was blessed to catch more than a few.
