Better check again, besides, I never said a nuclear bomb was the only weapon you can make out of enriched uranium.

You can make a dirty bomb out of anything radioactive, poisonous or infectious. But it doesn't go boom beyond the conventional explosives used to spread it.
If you want something with atomic explosive capability, you need beyond 60%. Of course you can create a science experiment like Ivy Mike, where they detonated the first H-bomb, that required a 5GW power plant, 5 tons of uranium, 260 gallons of deuterium and a small nuke to light it. All up it was 80 tons, and over 40 feet minimum diameter.

So you can probably make a house sized nuke from 60% heu, but it would take a wizard to figure out how to transport it.

All Iran has had to do for MANY YEARS is simply cooperate with the international effort to regulate their nuclear program, for good cause. Had they simply done that, they would have a booming nuclear power industry today, and Iran would be both safe and prosperous. Do you know Iran turned down a free lifetime supply of uranium for power generation? The world is fairly united in agreeing that Iran is not a country ready to own nukes. The only countries not in agreement are countries who would likely be sponsors and recipients of being involved in their bad deeds.

The US has offered 20 years but, again, I say why? And, if Iran accepts that, then they can enrich Uranium again to near weapons grade after 20 years? Why, if their program is for peaceful purposes?

I hope the US doesn't settle for 20 years. It should be permanently, as in forever. If we accept this deal it gives Iran 20 years to rebuild their battered military capabilities and defenses, including ballistic missiles which would be able to reach the US and then they start enriching Uranium again to make nuclear bombs. Then, if that happens, we are worse off than being back to square one because Iran will have had 20 years to rebuild and plan, including importing weapons and defenses from Russia and China.

Trump blamed Obama's 10 year deal with Iran as being stupid and he was right but I say the very same thing about a 20 year deal. It's stupid.

Why? He’s setting the pool table for the next GOP president to start bombing somewhere in the middle east when they get into trouble domestically.
