And you are wrong in your history about when Hell began to be taught by the Church. Do you forget that Jesus Christ Himself mentioned Hell?

He called it "eternal punishment" .. Mt 25:31

And he mentioned it in other psgs.

The teaching of eternal punishment aka Hell goes back to Jesus Christ.

Jesus taught symbolism on that matter. Because he was 100% clear-Those who walk the broad and spacious path will be destroyed---not handed eternal life to suffer.

There are many atrocities in Christian history, some Catholic, some Protestant. The Protestants never talk about how they persecuted Catholics and vice versa, but we all know how corruptible humans are. Human nature is one butt-ugly thing

And yet the Church Christ founded stands. It is holy and always will be. That's because it does not depend on HUMANS to be holy.

It is Christ's absolute holiness that sustains the Church... Luther and all the other divisive ones notwithstanding

The real teachers who have Jesus teach Every utterance from God to the flock without fail. All can look this very minute to see if they listen to teachers who have Jesus by that one fact. I think a good % of people watch porn. No wonder society is falling and can't get up. And Christians would rather go to a Joel Olsteen like "church" than go to the Church Christ Himself established on Earth.
