the left isn't being truthful when they claim the US has no reason to bomb Iran's military sites .

We didn't "invade" Ukraine for no reason and we are not whining. We do know what Ukrainians and Europeans are and we are not surprised. And no, Ukraine doesn't win.
tell us.. why did y'all invade Ukraine ..

tell us.. why did y'all invade Ukraine ..
In few words: because of NATO expansion. We see NATO as a threat and we have to roll it back, to, at least, Elbe river.

Specific pretext for the special military operation was a military aggression of Ukraine against our allies - DPR and LPR, with who we had mutual defence threaty, and, Ukrainian attack against them was equal to Ukrainian attack against the Russian Federation itself. Absolutely legal collective self-defense.

No wonder your putin wants to be around Drumph. Your canned response sounds like something the Drumph would say.

Sorry for my English. What kind of answer would you prefer?

How about leaving out the canned political crap. You are trying to mask the fact that Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014, reneged on the deal it cut to allow Ukraine to exist and are not trying to make everyone believe that Russia is lily white. Putin is an evil man. I don't think that Zelinski is so hot but he's head and shoulders above Putin and you.

why are leftists so supportive of one of the most brutal dictatorships in the world ??
Ignorance, indoctrination, stupidity, no meaning in their lives, and toxic empathy all combined to make an ideology thats disconnected from reality. Welcome to the den crat party

Sorry, but there is linguistic problem. We, Russians, actually believe that we are good people (and those who are against us - are bad). Also, Russian understanding of good and evil, as well as Russian understanding of the whole cultural and historical situation is quite different from American one. So, when I explain our point of view, I can:
1) Try to translate actual Russian motivation, but it hardly will be understood by you without long lectures about what is good and what is bad in Russian culture.
2) More or less mirror American political crap about justification of American actions in different American wars. But then you'll recognise it as "American political crap".
3) Or I can accept typical American point of view that America is good, and Russians are just a horde of bloodthristy monsters and brainwahed goons lead by irrational dictator or supernatural Dark Lord, which might fit your mindset, but nothing can be further from reality or even from realism.

AI Overview

The "red-green alliance" refers to a controversial, strategic partnership between radical leftists ("red") and Islamists ("green") in Western nations, collaborating on anti-capitalist, anti-imperialist, and anti-Israel initiatives
. This collaboration is often seen in protests and civil society, with researchers examining its impact on Western democracy.
Taylor & Francis Online +4
Key Features and Findings:
  • Ideological Convergence: Despite deep ideological differences (e.g., secularism vs. religious law), the two groups find common ground in their opposition to Western, particularly U.S., foreign policy, as explored in this article on The Emerging Red-Green Alliance.
  • Protest and Activism:
The alliance has been observed in demonstrations on university campuses and in street protests, particularly following conflicts in the Middle East, according to this discussion with Asra Nomani.
    • Civil Society Influence: Elements of this alliance are involved in Western human rights organizations, leveraging legal frameworks to advance their agenda, as described by this INSS report.

I don't harbor any ill feelings on the common Russian, it's the corrupt leadership that garners such distain. Just like I don't have any ill feelings for the common American but find Drumph as evil as Putin.

2) More or less mirror American political crap about justification of American actions in different American wars. But then you'll recognise it as "American political crap".

I don't even attempt to justify the American Leaders right now. I find them to be quite criminal in nature and need to be tossed into a jail cell for a very long time. I find that Putin is right up with them.

3) Or I can accept typical American point of view that America is good, and Russians are just a horde of bloodthristy monsters and brainwahed goons lead by irrational dictator or supernatural Dark Lord, which might fit your mindset, but nothing can be further from reality or even from realism.

Your way of thinking shows a severe lack of thoughtfulness. When I visited Spain in 1970, I didn't find the Spanish Civilians as anything other than kind and a bit fearing of their ruling government (Fascist). Same goes for almost anywhere else I spent time at. Normal People are fantastic. Governments are cruel if allowed to go that way. Reminds me of a joke.

An American was speaking with a Russian. The American said, "In My Country, I have the right to burn our Flag". The Russian said, "In Russia, we have the same right to burn your flag as well". The American countered with, "We have the right to speak out against our Government". The Russian said, "So do we, but just once".

Two million of terrorists and their supporters are dead. We have more bases now than we had in 2015. New Syrian government is cooperative enough. What else would we want?

C'mon. In Ukraine we are already eliminated hundreds of thousands of Nazies and winning the war of attrition with the whole collective West, coercing them, more or less into the peace on our terms.

2 million Syrians dead.
Russia has only 2 bases left,
after leaving Qamishi 2 months ago.

Apparently by you, now Russia wants the Gulf states...

It seems that you just try to be polite. "Ordinary people are good, governments are bad". But if you value life of a Russian lesser than a life of Albanian, that's just words.

Just like I don't have any ill feelings for the common American but find Drumph as evil as Putin.
As if Trump wasn't elected by common Americans, and just arrived from Venus.

I don't even attempt to justify the American Leaders right now. I find them to be quite criminal in nature and need to be tossed into a jail cell for a very long time. I find that Putin is right up with them.
Sorry for my English. By mirroring American justifications I unwillingly created illusion of equality between Russians and Americans (both common people and leadership). And while in basic motivations all people are more or less similar, specific features are quite different.

Did you study Spanish language and Spanish mentality? Normal people are fantastic while you know nothing about them.

Governments are cruel if allowed to go that way.
Governments are always cruel, when it's necessary, because it's their job.

Yep. Every joke is only partly a joke. You actually see other that way. Reminds me a joke how Russians actually see foreigners.
Once after a shipwreck, a Russian, an American, a French and a Pole found themselves on an unhabited island, in cannibal's captivity. The chief of the tribe told them: "We are going to eat you, one by one, but because we are civilised people we give you the last wish. Whatever you want.
First they called a French. He said - "I want to f#ck all women of your tribe". Women were summoned and he fucked one, second, third, got tired and said "that's enough". The cannibals killed and ate him.
Second was American. He said - "I want you gather all flour, all meat and all vegetables and made as many hamburgers you can". They made a lot of hamburgers, and he started to eat. He ate one, two, five, ten humburgers, got full and said: "That's enough!" The cannibals ate him, too.
The third was Russian. He said: "I want all warriors of your tribe here, punching my face" The chief, surprised: "What the hell? Don't you understand, dude, that it's your last wish. Ask something useful!" Russian refused. "No," he said, "I want all your warriors, punching my face. " "Ok", said the chief. "As you wish". All cannibal warriors gathered in one large crowd, and after first of them punched Russian's face, he took an assault rifle from under his clothes and killed all of them at once. Astonished Pole: "Why didn't you do it earlier?" The Russian: "We, Russians, never attacking anyone first".

Yep. They are allied with Americans and allow them to fight against Iran.

Because otherwise there's no reason to refuse splitting their countries between Iran and China and Russia?

According to that logic the list of countries Iran is not at war with is very short.

Russia didn't invade Ukraine in 2014 you clown, Zelenski is a drug fueled gangster who has stolen billions and given billions in kickbacks to the Biden crime family.

There are 195 countries in the world, give or take few, and 102 of them are more or less allies of the USA, so, almost half of the countries in the world are not hostile to Iran. Technically, it's not a war, so, formalities can be elusive. Even some of formal NATO members, like Spain or Italy banned the USA from usage of their bases or airspace for operations against Iran.
