No tool is perfect for every job. Just go to a decent hardware store and look at all the different hammers. Different tools for different jobs. Small pistol for concealed carry, powerful pistol for quickly disabling a target. Small caliber pistol for practice/competitive shooting. Different gauge shotguns for hunting different game, short barreled shotgun (legal length of course) for home defense. Small caliber rifle for range shooting/competition. I can go on and on. Do you get the point?Why?

Have those drivers disappeared and if they have, why do you still own multiple firearms?
