All we Christians need to have the assurance of our salvation. A large
number of we Christians, in the past at times, have struggled against
doubt. The problem is this: Sometimes we feel like we're saved and
sometimes we feel like maybe we're not saved ~ or at least we have
some doubts that enter our minds. The solution to this problem is to
never trust your feelings on this issue because your feelings will
change with the wind. Your feelings will go from high's to low's
based on the changing winds of circumstances. Instead of trusting
in your feelings on this issue, put all your trust in God's Word which
never changes and God has said clearly and specifically that we can
KNOW for certain that we are saved. And God does not tell lies. He
always tells the truth. So? So "have faith in God" and KNOW that
you are saved.

That's silly. Each and every encounter should be weighed on its own merits without prejudgment, bias or preference for an outcome. To argue you should never trust anyone or anything not only belies logic it belies your own actions. There are hundreds of things you do every day where you place trust. You just have never thought about it.

The fact that you see yourself as better and others as worse is a textbook example of the dunning-kruger effect. Not only is it a bad look for you, it defies reality.

Sure during the day I have trust in people , at work and while driving and among other things, but I never fully trust anything or anything. The world can change at the drop of a hat and I know that. People you know can come right out and kill you. Never trust anyone fully. I trust my friends and my husband , but I know they are human, and human beings screw up. So much pain exists people die, and are homeless, I work in a hospital and there is so much pain and suffering, its unreal. The children also let us down.

We live a fallen world, you should never trust anyone or anything fully. Of course I'm going to say I'm good. Equal then, the good = the evil.

That's silly. Each and every encounter should be weighed on its own merits without prejudgment, bias or preference for an outcome. To argue you should never trust anyone or anything not only belies logic it belies your own actions. There are hundreds of things you do every day where you place trust. You just have never thought about it.

The fact that you see yourself as better and others as worse is a textbook example of the dunning-kruger effect. Not only is it a bad look for you, it defies reality.

Again, the good overwhelmingly outweighs the bad and it's not even close. You have been watching too much news. It has skewed your perception of reality.

Sure during the day I have trust in people , at work and while driving and among other things, but I never fully trust anything or anything. The world can change at the drop of a hat and I know that. People you know can come right out and kill you. Never trust anyone fully. I trust my friends and my husband , but I know they are human, and human beings screw up. So much pain exists people die, and are homeless, I work in a hospital and there is so much pain and suffering, its unreal. The children also let us down.

All we Christians need to have the assurance of our salvation. A large
number of we Christians, in the past at times, have struggled against
doubt. The problem is this: Sometimes we feel like we're saved and
sometimes we feel like maybe we're not saved ~ or at least we have
some doubts that enter our minds. The solution to this problem is to
never trust your feelings on this issue because your feelings will
change with the wind. Your feelings will go from high's to low's
based on the changing winds of circumstances. Instead of trusting
in your feelings on this issue, put all your trust in God's Word which
never changes and God has said clearly and specifically that we can
KNOW for certain that we are saved. And God does not tell lies. He
always tells the truth. So? So "have faith in God" and KNOW that
you are saved.
