How to save inner city schools.

Why bother, after all I'm a liar.
how can you ever prove a personal account from 70 yrs ago??

how about you respond to the things I posted about the topic at hand and avoid personal things that can never be proven one way or the other,,

you posted a story with a picture of a ceiling tile out of place and claimed schools are crumbling,,

thats not what I call a crumbling school,,

Maybe, except this one obviously.
It seems that you are trying to take both sides on the inner city school issue. On one hand you say you worked in a horrible public inner city school and on the other you claim there’s no issues.

Become a teacher and you will learn.
Did you read the post I quoted? It was idiotic.

He said.
Students in very difficult circumstances require a specific set of skills and experiences. Teachers with such skills and experiences tend to go where they are needed

That was as dumb as it gets. Read it again sentence by sentence.

Again what special skills experiences do students need? What they need are safe schools where the focus is on actually educating these young students regardless of their experiences or individual skill set

I never said there were no issues. The rampant violence you claimed existed, does not.

We need to fix our inner city public schools.

The first step is to make them a clean, safe and secure place which concentrates on encouraging the learning process.

The second step is to ensure faculty and staff are dedicated to that idea.

The third step is to enforce this and not just pass failing students on to the next level.

Did I say every school in the country? You can’t suppprt your position, so you lie about mine.

You were not a teacher in an inner city school. You told a whopper on that one.
Go back and look at what you said, with no equivocation. I'll give you time to look up the definition and what you originally said.

I taught at Olmsted Academy North in Louisville KY.
Enjoy!

Now you want to tell me which school you worked at in the inner city? Oh, wait! That would be impossible. Never mind.
