Tell us how you demand academic achievement. If it was they would not have a majority of students who can’t read, write and do general math at grade level. These inner city schools graduate kids who are functionally illiterate.

That article is about two years old. Mountains of money have been pumped into schools since COVID. More money, by itself, is not the answer. Whoever wrote that article didn't seem to be very familiar with Boston. Dorchester is one of the worst parts of Boston, so obviously more and more and more money into the schools in Dorchester won't magically transform Dorchester into Lexington. All is well in our inner-city schools.

The Desolation of America’s Urban Schools
Austerity measures have resulted in dangerous, squalid conditions for the most vulnerable students.www.thenation.com
From what I've read it's a national problem. That article is about two years old. Mountains of money have been pumped into schools since COVID. More money, by itself, is not the answer. Whoever wrote that article didn't seem to be very familiar with Boston. How is that illogical? Why do they produce so many High school grads who read, write, speak English and do general math at a fifth grade level or lower?Illogical again.
So then how is more money going to help? You just admitted “mountains of money” have been pumped into these schools since. COVID.That article is about two years old. For a change, try not to be an idiot. No, you didn't. What you posted is still wrong. Academic achievement is promoted. It is simply not achieved by the students. You cannot make chicken salad out of chicken shit.

You should take your own advice. Have you ever taught in an inner-city school? I have, and you have no idea the problems these kids have. For a change, try not to be an idiot.
No, you didn't. What you posted is still wrong. Academic achievement is promoted. It is simply not achieved by the students. You cannot make chicken salad out of chicken shit.
I did say something. I don’t know what happened there. No comment from you? Why did you quote my post and then say nothing?
Tell me how YOU would promote academic performance, so I can evaluate your methods!I did say something. I don’t know what happened there.
If academic performance is promoted, why do a strong majority of inner city high school kids graduate with an elementary scho reading, writing and general math level?
More than half can’t even speak proper English. They don’t know the difference between an adjective, noun and a verb
First I would provide effective security.Tell me how YOU would promote academic performance, so I can evaluate your methods!
What instructional tactic would you use? Remember, physical beatings are not allowed.
First I would provide effective security.
Successful teachers just luck out with better students. How would you do that for special education teachers? Next!I would reward successful teachers with financial incentives.
Not a teacher's decision. Talk to the school administration or school board. Next! Then I would discontinue the process of simply passing failing students to the next grad level just to get rid of them.
I just figured I would kill that option in advance. Many people default to that. What is your solution.?No one advocated physical bestimgs you idiot.
Primarily, I believe those that left urban sewers for the suburbs had the right idea.Do you think that only black people live in urban areas?

That's pretty specific. How the hell would you know that? (awaiting some painfully stupid bullshit)....They don’t know the difference between an adjective, noun and a verb
