As far as I can see "the Democrats" in the USA are still democrats. But I doubt "the Republicans" in the USA are still republicans. On the other side: Could be more difficult to knive a Trump with smart phones as to knive a tyrant with styli. A novum in the US-American politics since 1776 is for sure that someone has to live now in fear of a political opponent.
