Since May of 2021 there have been a series of fires at food processing plants across America. These fires do not seem to target one aspect of the food processing industry but seem to be industry wide. In some cases, the fires hit pork plants, in other cases poultry plants, and in others beef plants.

I remember when Gerry Ford was playing a bad hand he was dealt. He'd pardoned Nixon to prevent the spectacle of a disgraced and dishonest ex-president who was never going to run for president again, and who it turned out was nearly bankrupted. He'd inherited an economy where demand continued to outstrip supply, and neither his treasury nor the fed seemed to have any clue how to stop it. And he even had a small, but scary, pandemic with "vaccination" scares (unfounded as it turned out).

But he could have been relected, and according to some likely would have been, if he hadn't made a gaffe during the debates with Carter and said Poland was not behind the iron curtain. (no doubt he knew that, but as happens to all of us, he went into brain lock.)

His secret? Americans knew he was honest, and he was telling them the straight dope, at least how he saw it. And he was a decent guy and trying hard.

Biden's wanting a tax holiday despite it being an inflationary move. Biden blaming everyone but his own party.
