How much new debt did Obama create that wasn't a direct/indirect result of Bush actions/policies?

I invite anyone to give an accounting of the debt that Obama has added - that wasn't a direct or indirect result of Bush actions and/or policies. The Bush debt clock didn't just stop on the day Obama was sworn in. Let me give you some starting tips: TWO wars that Bush kept OFF budget that Obama kept ON budget and the Bush tax cuts. Obama was about $1.3 trillion in the hole on the day he was sworn in. In short, Bush-era policies are still driving the numbers.

I know you conservatives want to turn America into a third world country that doesn't do anything anymore...A bunch of cock sucking traitors.

/---- why the hell would we want to live like a socialist country. If that's what we wanted then we would have voted for Hildabeast to finish what Obozo started. You just make up lies to deflect from liberal failures.

Are you saying Bush borrowed the money?

Because he didn't... it was all under Obama. Eh, I suppose taking responsibility is something you would always avert at all cost.

It's going to be a while before we can see this clearly, but our economy was literally days from literally collapsing.

Extraordinary measures had to be taken, and yeah, shit tons of printed money had to be thrown at it.

We pretty much had to hold up the fucking planet, and that's what we did.

We'll never know what Obama would have done with even a remotely healthy economy, good or bad.

If the reference is to TARP - I agree.

As for Obama - the Big Desk comes with an 'as is' sign. Each president must deal with the sum total of policies and decisions, directly or indirectly, of all the presidents preceding him.

But, I'll defer to Obama's standard of attributing debt responsibility - as he declared of Bush, so is declared of him. ezpz

Sure, that's how partisan politics works on both ends, which is why partisans have zero credibility.

The actual fact is that every President is dealing with the actions of previous administrations going decades back, but the partisans don't want to admit that.

My only point was that he was handed a bowl of shit of historic proportions, and we had to throw the kitchen sink at it (I do love mixed metaphors). That would have been the case for any President, of either party, and it was pretty freaking expensive.
