It happens when people with political power but no scientific perspective make policy. Carbon fuels (and nuclear energy) have saved countless lives and continue to do so every day.

Even if human-caused global warming is a fact - and I presume that it is - humans have demonstrated for eons that they can adapt to what Mother Nature throws at us, and our ability to do so improves constantly. Agreed. I would rather deal with nature and the consequences of our actions on nature than let some Watermelons create laws that may or may not mitigate an issue at the expense of our liberties and freedoms.

I have decided the "we can mess with climate or we can't mess with climate argument" is not material to my concerns over Marxists using AGW to implement their economic and political policies.

If it's happening or not, I would rather deal with the consequences than preemptively give power to Marxists parading as environmentalists in order to prevent something that may or may not occur.
