How many right wingers vs left wingers on this forum?

How many "right wingers" vs "left winger?" All of them...

How many "left wingers" vs "right wingers?" Same...

That's if you don't count the few who claim to be unwavering fence sitters.
You will quickly find 80 percent of the lefties all claim to be moderates.

At least. And every one of them runs to the defense of any radical leftist/Marxist policy that gets criticized in a thread on here. You won't get a single one of them to say even one critical word about such things.

You see them all over this forum. They claim they are moderates, who just happen to side with the Democrats over 90% of the time.
Ray, You don’t believe that there are many “moderate” Democrats?

Honestly as a libertarian, it’s hard to tell what “moderate” means anymore, it’s become a pretty murky term to nail down, however I suspect that most partisans from either party consider themselves “moderate” in one way or another. The Overton Window has moved so much from where it was just a decade ago, that what we once believed as “conservative” core principles or “liberal” core principles rarely seem to apply anymore.

You will find many who take politics waaaaaaay too seriously when in reality it doesn't really matter.

We don't have socialism in the us, not even close. Socialists in america comprise .000000000001 percent of voters. Capitalism is alive and strong with the hard at working labor force on the face of the earth.

The Democrats "official" platform has moved WAY further to the left over the past decade than the GOP has moved in any direction (it also moved left IMO, as true fiscal conservatism no longer exists in the GOP). Any Democrat who has views similar to a Joe Lieberman-type moderate is radically out of sync with the current Democrat platform, which is on a trajectory to move even further left based on its young leadership.

Totally wrong. Conservatives are proud to be conservative and call themselves that. Even I don't support every Republican issue, but because I support most of them, I consider myself a right-wing conservative. It's the left that won't admit they are left, so they call themselves moderates when they don't support the entire Communist agenda.

Absolutely. The left went from Democrats to liberals. From liberals to progressives. Now from progressives to Socialist Democrats, whatever in hell that is.

When AOC and the idiot three are the face of your party, it's only going to get more left from there.

Also millionaire business owners, why they post here is anyone's guess

You will meet very few leftists on USMB who don't own their own business, early retired because they accumulated so much wealth, or have their own business at home.

Left right center liberal conservative blah blah and on and on.....and what does it matter? In the end? Means nothing. In the eyes of our creator it means less than nothing.

I don’t disagree, but isn’t a “moderate” determined by the middle ground of public opinion at any given point in time (aka “The Overton Window”) ? Where do Democrats and Republicans fall with respect to that?

Is Donald Trump “far right” with respect to the center of public opinion today?
Is Joe Biden “far left” with respect to the center of public opinion today?

Opinion polls seem to indicate that we’re by in large a “center right” country, but it’s relative, the “center” seems to have moved to the left in the last few decades.

Initforme.
In the eyes of the creator my ass.
You can't help but bring your filthy religion into it as if any God had input into this country. You're a joke.

You can call me all the names you want. I hold firm in my Christian beliefs. I also call out evangelicals who have twisted the bible so they don't have to abide by it.

No one has to abide by it. It's a fallacy. Your problems is you cannot accept death, expect an afterlife and can't take responsibility for your actions but wish to shovel the blame into a god.

You can't be a Christian without being a hypocrit.
