One more time: the way the WTC was designed, when these jets exploded, they blew off the insulation designed to protect the floor spans, and the resulting jet fire was more than hot enough (1500°F) in order to weaken and soften said spans enough that they sagged under their own weight, pulled free of their supports, and collapsed.

Once the floors began collapsing, it quickly became a runaway condition leading to total structural failure.

Get real. Atomized kerosene explodes. That is what happened inside the tower. The jet engine blast and all that atomized fuel INSIDE the building created a blast furnace.

Look, stupid, you are just being silly or deliberately obtuse--- floors are designed to support the load of their own weight plus the weight of office furniture and people, etc. When the two floors above suddenly drop on top of you and you are already weakened, you only add to the collapse, and every subsequent floor after that is only overburdened more and more.

That is a basic runaway condition in mechanical engineering every student learns on their first day, and the WTC design was particularly prone to it since the floor spans themselves added essentially nothing to the overall strength of the building as all of the actual strength was in the central core and the outer skin was basically just held in place by the interlinking floor spans which only served to stabilize the outer skin.

Soon as a few floor spans let go, the entire integrity of the building designed in the 1960s was gone. It was a cost-saving design.

All because the original designers never considered the possibility of someone deliberately flying a jumbo jet into them, so never intended the thermal insulation of the spans to withstand such a serious airblast.
