How many COVID deaths are attributable to Trump?

210,000 deaths with no end in sight. The rest of the world looks at us in shock. We were once admired around the world for our healthcare and global leadership.

Now, nobody wants to be us.

One way to look at it is to compare the death toll in the United States with outcomes in other, similar countries. That's the approach taken by researchers with Columbia University's National Center for Disaster Preparedness. This week, they released a report estimating that between 130,000 and 210,000 deaths from covid-19 didn't need to occur, had the country's response been as effective as those of other nations.
Obamacare and his slack response to h1n1 made us a laughing stock.

How many are attributed to Cumo and other Governors and their poor leadership?
How many deaths attributed to covid are not actually covid deaths?
How many deaths attributed to covid were the result of covid alone with no underlying health problems?
How many deaths are attributed to the numerous experts who have given conflicting information about how to protect yourself in the early days of covid?
See how easy this who is to blame game is?

Trump left the hard decisions to the Governors while he pretended COVID was no threat.
Lol, if he tried to shut the country down, you would've called him a dictator. No matter what he does, you're going to whine. So your opinion doesn't matter.

How can anyone in America be satisfied with our numbers of COVID deaths?

If Trump took basic precautions, he would have saved at least 100,000 lives

My state of NJ shut down almost completely and I admired Gov Murphy for making tough decisions.
I admired Republican Gov Hogan from Maryland for doing the same.

I was shocked at the actions of the Governors of Florida, Georgia, Arizona and Texas who listened to Trump and opened prematurely

Better question would be.... How many people who blame Trump for Covid deaths are democrats?

The world looks at our number of deaths and blames Trump

We still have assholes on USMB who decry masks
Making Trump proud
I don't wear a mask and I'm perfectly fine. Maybe if obama suggested we all wear a mask during h1n1. There wouldn't of been over half a million deaths.

He saved over 1.8 million lives, while obama killed over half a million. By your reasoning.

Why do you keep telling that lie?

after the peak of illness during the second wave had come and gone in the United States. From April 12, 2009 to April 10, 2010, CDC estimated there were 60.8 million cases (range: 43.3-89.3 million), 274,304 hospitalizations (range: 195,086-402,719), and 12,469 deaths (range: 8868-18,306) in the United States due to the (H1N1)pdm09 virus.

Actually my numbers are wrong. They are higher because obama quit testing and counting, and you blew him the entire time.

I never said was did I? I asked why you are so obsessed with the opinion of foreign countries?

And there is no way to know if any lives would have been saved.

For Christ's sake i live in a state with mask requirements and yesterday I saw at least 2 dozen idiots wearing their masks with their noses sticking out.

We have idiots in this country who think vaccines are poison

There is no possible way you can say that any president is responsible for people being stupid

I heard it was 56 deaths less than the number of lies he has told.

Not one coronavirus can be attributed to Trump
If you want to blame someone here is where the blame belongs: China
The WHO
The decision of the five governors listed below who ignored federal protocols and instead mandated COVID positive patients be forced back to their nursing homes ended up being a death sentence for tens of thousands of our nation's most vulnerable citizens
California Gov. Gavin Newsom.
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy.
Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.
Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf.
That's where you can start the blame game

Trump spread the damned virus to his family and his staff.

Instead of leading the nation to fight a deadly virus, Trump relegated it to states and cities o decide. He then undermined their efforts and encouraged people to disobey.

The states you name were at the forefront when the virus hit. They were making up rules on the fly because they didnt know any better at the time. They DID flatten the curve and now are fighting pockets of infection.

Meanwhile, Governors of Florida, Georgia, Arizona and Texas mocked COVID as a blue state problem and did little to get their states ready. They had a head start that Blue states didn’t and they did nothing

Trump cheered them on

We still have assholes on USMB who decry masks
Making Trump proud
We still have assholes on USMB who believe the virus can be controlled by man.

We can reduce our exposure to it

Something Republicans mock
So stay in your basement or under your bed, that is your decision but don't tell others how to live their lives. Further more do not tell people that they are non-essential and cannot go to work. The government has no right to tell people who can work and who cannot nor should they be able to determine what store and businesses should be allowed to operate.

All that happens when you hide from a virus is it doesn't go away and no one builds up immunites. Further the death rate is as small as every other flu except in the elderly or specific at risk group and guess what your buddies 5 Democratic Governors ordered patients back into those very homes with the at risk.

Yes
In a crippling pandemic we NEED to tell people how to live their lives.

Saying......Let people decide if they want to comply or not is a reason we have five times the number of deaths by population

Except it isn't crippling it has a death rate the same as the regular flu.
