How many are paying attention to Venezuela?

Anything to the left of Ayn Rand is COMMUNISM!

I was hoping at least one of you would step up and tell me how socialism/communism/humanism is actually working in Venezuela but I guess I am stuck with you idiots. Which actually proves my point.

Mostly for the benefit of educating you left wing fools.

It?s Happening In Real Time. Pay Attention. | Is This Blog On?

Toyota Motor Company shut down assembly. GM and Ford arenÂ’t assembling cars either, because they canÂ’t get parts. Inflation is at 50%. The TV stations are all now state controlled. Propaganda posters boast of socialist Venezuela, while there isnÂ’t even toilet paper to wipe their asses. Twitter was shut down the other day when it was being used to coordinate student protests against the government. Yet, useful idiots like Sean Penn and Danny Glover supported Chavez and the social revolution which has lead to this ruin.

How many times do we need to watch your failed policies come to life and die in front of our own eye's before you left wing idiots catch on?

Socialism and communism is a sure route to failure. Yet you keep promoting these same policies here. When the hell are you going to learn?

Please post the names of those who post here and support communism, and the evidence that they do.
That's amusing. You people support central planning and command/control economics.
You also look to government as your daily problem solver.
I see little difference between that and communism.

Venezuela's Challenge for the 21st Century: Building a Democratic, Humanist Socialism | venezuelanalysis.com

Chavez, in fact, had to intervene to quell a packed stadium’s chants of “Chavez si, Lula no!” Before that same crowd, the Venezuelan leader made his most overt ideological statement to date:

We must reclaim socialism as a thesis, a project and a path, but a new type of socialism, a humanist one, which puts humans and not machines or the state ahead of everything. ThatÂ’s the debate we must promote around the world, and the WSF is a good place to do it.

The problem is not that the Left doesnt know anything. It's that so much of what they know is wrong.

Well, I'm happy for you letting the communists control your use of language.

I'm always amazed how many people are so thrilled about the wonders of socialism that they risk death on the open oceans in makeshift boats in an attempt at escape.

Well that and the numbers of socialist paradises that have to build walls to keep people in. Nothing says economic and human rights success story like shooting folks who would like to leave.

I'm always amazed at the idiocy of the RW lunatics who opine that liberals, or even centrist democrats, approve of chavez and communism.

Sean Penns are a distinct minority even amongst liberals

Could it be that liberals and most "centrist Democrats" do so much to show their approval of Chavez (and his successor) and communism?

Oh, they're just kidding?

Hillary's gonna give him a medal of freedom. Seriously. And, I have a bridge that people will pay to cross, and it can be yours .....

Some arent happy everywhere. I'm trying to understand why they are protesting. Some want the new guy to step down because of lack of services which in the article says "went downhill in the 10 months since he took over".

But is that the whole reason? Not one report says that they want a different economic system so...uh...

Apparently some are not happy in the Socialist Utopia.

shocking.

so....uh....

Hundreds of students have spent the past week in the streets of Caracas alternating between peaceful protests by day and pitched battles with police at night in unrest fed by hardships that include rampant crime, 56 percent inflation and shortages of basic goods

....yeah, they're probably very satisfied with the socialist Venezuelan Gov. No issues here......everyone just Be Happy.

They're protesting because Chavez and whatever-that-guy's-name-is have created an economy that has 30% inflation and shortages of basic goods on the shelves. IOW, it's the same basket-case economics that failed in the 60s, 70s and 80s in the Third World.

But thanks for changing the topic.

Progressives don't support Communism, Humanism is not Socialism, and Reaganomics doesn't work.

Progressives are elitists , they love using the power of the government to mold the economy and society

Fascists/socialists , they love using the power of the government to mold the economy and society.

If A=B and B=C then A=C.

Logic 101.

Sofia Vergara. She's from Barranquilla Colombia.

Colombians hated Chavez and they hate his replacement even more.

Every day in here, libturds routinely validate the opinion we have of them....

They really are stupid and uninformed.

I started a thread on this a few days ago. It got booted to the Siberia of the Forum.

Can't have libturds looking at things that might upset them. Heaven forbid.

I'd like to send Sean Penn, Oliver Stone and every other dimocrap piece of ******* shit that ACTIVELY supported these scumbags to go live there.

Along with Jimmy Carter.

Now that everything is working out EXACTLY like we said it would in Venezuela, our liberal scum cowards are hiding in the bushes. Or in Europe.

Can't find them. Funny how that works, huh?

If we had a president with balls, he'd be shipping weapons and supplies to the Venezuelan Rebels so they could send the commie cocksuckers to Hell. Where they belong.

But that ain't gonna happen. Venezuela is what dimocraps have planned for you

I watched all the crap Chavez was doing and was amazed the media still referred to him as "President" and pretended it was a democracy. Not once did I see anyone call it an authoritarian regime. The press was largely focused on free health care and schools in poor areas etc etc. How generous Chavez was and so on.
And I knew it was only a matter of time before Venezuela sunk into the same morass of shortages and unemployment that always comes when charismatic dictators offer free shit at someone else's expense. Always. There has never been an exception.

One more president like Obama and we could be in the same boat. I think it will be a minor miracle if he actually steps down.
