The tax break was never only for the top 1%, it was for everyone. And yes our economy boomed during that time. It created such an expansion of wealth even your best friend Clinton signed on to reducing the welfare state because there were jobs for people. Not that he created it but he rode the wave. 49 million are struggling because they are under the thumb of the government. Their potentual employers are under the thumb of regulations that make it less attractive to actually hire someone.

Liberalism is the takeover of the fascist state by the state. Since the corporation is enjoying so much of the governments largess you want the government to take over the corporation for the benefit of the worker. Communism.

It never dawned on you that the entire reason the government/corporate marriage exists is because they can't take over the livelihood of the citizen apart they have to do it together.
