There's another excellent reason to wait till after the mid-terms to announce.....Hell, I'd wait till that gavel is handed over in January just to be sure.

The Dims are so used to corruption and raping little boys they can't stand candidates like Trump and DeSantis that hold up under a magnifying glass. 5,000 investigations of Trump and nothing.... nada.... zero. We learn of new racketeering charges against Josef Stolen everyday and it's just another snoozer.... so what's new....

DeSantis is not Trump. He's no real threat to them. Trump is a huge threat to their party, especially now that Dementia got rid of most of his policies and the country is in shambles. They're going to stay focused on Trump until they lose or he gives up. I'm not counting on the latter.
