It's about a GOP mayor who is holding library funds hostage until some books are taken off library shelves.

How is that not censorship by the Right wing?

The right wing complains about being censored on facebook and the like,and how is this thing the right doing not censorship?

I feel it's the case of the kettle calling the pot black.

kettle calling the pot black means someone is guilty of the very thing they accuse others of doing.

More likely is that the town librarian is bending over for him.

One guy, a small town mayor in Mississippi, does not represent the entire Right-Wing. According to Tonja Johnson, the executive director of the Madison County Library System, they have a library board that decides which books are allowed and which aren't, and I assume there are mechanisms in place to remove/replace individuals on that board if the public isn't pleased with their decisions. But I doubt the mayor has that authority; in any event I'm sure this will end up in court.

My own opinion is that everyone, including students, ought to have access to learn about CRT, LGBTQ rights and what the fuss is all about. I also think most kids are going to learn all about it on the street rather than in the library, but the books oughta be there IMHO. Let the parents and the community decide, not the mayor.

Access should be there, of course. But i am against force. Like being taught in schools.

It's one thing to explain what it is, both sides of the issue. But another to advocate for it one way or the other, telling kids what to think is wrong. They're going to hear a lot of crap on the street so IMHO maybe it's best to hear the truth in school and let them make up their own minds.

See there the GOP is the New Taliban.

</sarcasm>

Just kidding wackos. The guy does seem to be an intolerant religious zealot though......

No, they learn about it in kindergarten in democrat run schools

By first grade they become experts in porn and sexual deviancy, even though they can't read or write yet.

I have no doubt that a conspiracy theory nut, such as yourself, actually believes first graders are experts in porn and sexual deviancy. Your crazy is showing.

One guy who has been brainwashed by right wing rhetoric.
I dunno', dude looks kinda' old. He looks old enough to be one of the guys who came up with the rhetoric.

Either way, it's one guy doing this. That's all...
