No, his cancelling everything TRUMP! did was out of simple spite, not a careful analysis to make sure he wouldn't make a situation worse. That would have taken too long and interfered with afternoon pudding.

The problem is that most voters are driven by fear. They're not voting "for" anything. They're just convinced that one side is evil, so they vote for the other, no matter how bad the nominated candidate is.
We have choices, but we ignore them because we fall for the lesser-of-two-evils scam. There are voting reforms that might wake us from our stupor, but as long as we're enthralled by Ds and Rs fear machine, the reforms will be blocked.
