' Days after Austreberto Gonzalez anonymously reported a fellow Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputy to internal affairs for assaulting a colleague behind the parking lot of the Compton station, a text popped up on his phone.

It was a photo of graffiti scrawled on a dial pad at the station’s parking lot entrance: “ART IS A RAT,” it read.

It was one of the first instances of retaliation that continued for months, exacted by the Executioners, a band of deputies with matching tattoos that wields vast power at the Compton station, he alleged in a claim filed against Los Angeles County. The claim says the group — sporting tattoos of a skull with Nazi imagery and an AK-47 — celebrates deputy shootings and the induction of new members with “inking parties.” '

The public must conclude that all police shooting of unarmed people are done for the same reason; to "get ink'

The public must conclude WHAT!?

Holy shit, one gang in one department does not make every single police shooting a gang related homicide. What a hysterical conclusion.

No. You have to be a damn idiot to come to that conclusion.

“The FBI is committed to stopping acts of violence against law enforcement officers or anyone else in our communities.

How do you know its not the opposite? Police departments infiltrating radical groups like the Executioner gangs?

Law Enforcement has a long history of place moles in the Triple K and other extremist groups to keep an eye on them.

Anyone who has worked around cops has witnessed the twisted, violent, atavistic talk that comes out of their mouths. It's exactly like other street gangs act.

What does that have to do with the subject of CRIMINAL GANGS RUNNING POLICE DEPARTMENTS?

Strange, because my brother is a cop and I've spent plenty of time around him and the guys he works with and I've never heard any such thing.

What country has better police? Lol

I have long felt that the police should have a sort of star chamber to dispense justice when justice has become too politically correct.

I spent 26 years in a department and the only criminal gangs we encountered were of the democrat persuasion.. The ones who protected their own while charging the innocent like the DA's in Portland and other democrat run shit holes...

You’re talking about individuals in the police department why are you including all police in your explanation

This is not a rebuttal. Projecting your own personal experiences onto "everybody" does not lead any thinking people to the conclusion that all police shootings are gang related homicides. Keep trying.

I can't assume that all shootings of unarmed people are done to get gang membership.

HOWEVER, enough has come to light to warrant hearings at the federal and state levels and serious discussion among Americans as to whether some police departments have gang members within their ranks.

The following is an article by former FBI agent Mike German that discusses the problem in several states. In it he writes:

Since 2000, law enforcement officials with alleged connections to white supremacist groups or far-right militant activities have been exposed in Alabama, California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Louisiana, Michigan, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Virginia, Washington and West Virginia, among other states. Research organizations have uncovered hundreds of federal, state and local law enforcement officials participating in racist, nativist and sexist social media activity, which demonstrates that overt bias is far too common.

The FBI warned for years that police are cozy with the far right. Is no one listening? | Mike German

Moreover, this allegation about the Compton cops cannot be considered just an isolated case
  • it appears that the shooting of Ahmoud Arbrey, who was not shot by police, was not investigated at all until the video surfaced, after which several local DAs recused themselves, and murder charges were only brought after the GBI took over. The video shows that Arbrey, unarmed, ran into an ambush.
  • the Kenosha police union stated that Jacob Blake had fought with the police and that he had a knife "in his possession," and it was later recovered from the floorboard of his vehicle. But the video of his shooting shows that he had nothing in his hands as he walked around the front of his vehicle. If he had a knife during his altercation with the police, was there a second knife?
  • the Kenosha police seemed to be very friendly with the heavily armed people when they were supposed to be enforcing the curfew, and did nothing to check their ID's and tell them to clear out. This was before Rittenhouse began shooting. Yet they arrested people working on food trucks at gunpoint after somebody gave the police a tip that they had out-of-state plates and were filling fuel cans. The police chief has been accused of being affiliated with a gang called the Kenosha Guard.
There is too much that must be questioned in the deaths of a goodly number of people now, including such things as bungled or non-existent paper work.

Thousands of people have marched in protest both here and in other countries, with only a very few "rioting" or "looting."

Why don't we just take these things seriously and get to the bottom of it instead of just arguing back and forth, calling each other names, and attempting to incite civil unrest?

That ain't gonna happen on a political message board. The best you can do is sow some seeds and nurture 'em.
Message board posters aren't usually interested in differing opinions no matter what the facts/evidence are. They won't read differing opinions, beyond a headline, if the OP is lucky. Most are very shallow and narrow minded and have their mind made up before joining. They use a message board to make themselves feel better. There is a saying; you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink.
Political message boards are the epitome of that.
