It seems to me that for years now, deniers here have been warned that putting off action to deal with this problem is going to drive the cost up and up and up. In my book, this was their choice and they have given up any right to complain about the excessive cost. Fools.

Well, Greens are really bad at math.
My first engineering class; introduction to engineering. It's how I did it before Excel.
My intro to engineering class covered the use of slide rules
Mine covered how to curve fit among other things.
I'm sorry, but I just don't believe you. When they showed you how to calculate a curve fit, what sort of tasks did they mention that might require an engineer to do such a thing? Give us some examples of instances in which an engineer would be required to perform a curve fit. And what specific fit types did they cover? I gave you a list once before and you seemed not to know what I was talking about. It looked like this: Arrhenius, Cauchy, Custom Function, Damped Oscillator, Exponential, Gaussian, Inverse, Linear, Lorentzian, Natural Log, Non-linear, Poisson, Power Law, etc, etc, etc.
I couldn't care less that you don't believe me.
How about everyone else on this forum? Do you think THEY believe you know diddly-squat about curve fitting?
I couldn't care less about that either.
That makes it rather humorous, then, to see how hard you try.
