I understand the curiosity. I don't understand why some folks think understanding the regime's methodology matters. It certainly doesn't matter to trump.

The objective of Trump is obvious, China is the greatest cheater as they basically rendered the WTO feckless. If the West had confronted them two decades perhaps the U.S wouldn't have needed to take this approach. The Europeans in particular don't understand this fact.
