I've listened to Comer talk about it, and apparently the DOJ was hosing their investigations refusing to release subpoenaed documents that they needed to legally close the deal shut around Biden. But had they succeeded in impeaching Biden out of office, he would have been replaced by Kammy, who would have had the exact same people telling her what to do calling the shots and she's an even bigger idiot.

That would have made her the incumbent, with unlimited time to prepare reelection, develop a perfect campaign strategy, and with full media support behind her. That would have only increased her chances of being reelected.

I understand, but understand too that when it comes to government, especially federal government, the view is that failure is not an option, much less efficiency. They never know when they might need one of those licences so, better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

So, excess and waste go hand in hand. We are lucky that DOGE is finding the areas of such massive waste that there is room to clearly cut back at all, now PBS is adding to the fray of suing the Trump Administration because they got their funding cut like Harvard for violating the terms of their federal grants by being a 100% left wing leaning organization promoting all things democrat.

Anything, any policy, pardon, or executive order he implemented while in offiice could be expunged if it's found that Jill's chief of staff controlled the autopen. If the inept Republican party can play its cards right, his legacy as president could effectively be erased.
