The dialogue, character development, decision making skills often makes zero sense

It's a pretty good pre-sequel To Game of Thrones. Unlike Netflix and some other streaming services, if HBO has a large audience for season 1, they contract for the next session long before the end of the first season which is the case with House of Dragons. Although season 2 went into production this month, it will not be completed till in the Fall and probably not be released until sometime in 2024.
