Smallville seasons one through four the best.

Yeah no wonder they introduced chloe in the smallville series as a reporter on the school staff,i guess they wanted to use that excuse for Lois later coming on the showthe reporter connection. Chloe i later learned, was never even a character in the comics, thats why smallville was not ANYWHERE near as good a show as it COULD have been because while i am not against having a character in a movie or show that wasnt int he comics as a regular, that character should NEVER take top priority of a character that WAS in the comics pete.pete should have FAR more screentime than that bi tch chole as i know you agree? these writers totally screwed with the comic and betrayed it.

yeah it was ESPECIALLY shocking at the beginning see clark try and mow down chole, chole should know better by now that living in smallville people are not themselves half the time so to she should of all people, should have known better clark did not possses all his faculties at that time.

Using email to “ultra” a decent brain is futuristic for the time for now we have tik toc and AI for that. Life imitating art.

INDEED.

clark dont believe chole for a second that she will stop, you should know better.

This episode gives you ANOTHER glimpse into Lex that he does indeed have it in him that he could go down the dark side and be evil in the future because no GOOD person with a good heart would go within a 100 yards of somebody that was a murderer. you would never do that and neither would I under any circumstances.
Was it Batman that had a sidekick. That should’ve been Pete? Though I vaguely remember the Superman series, wasn’t jimmy a sidekick?

I didn’t peek into the Lois events but I did the end. Ho hum not lately, I don’t have time. lol

Lex is subjected to outright torture and has no influence except a murderous dad’s. I think this takes him to a breaking point.

yeah I think you are right about him settling for Adam. I cant rmember for sure or not but as i hink i remember,i was VERY urprised to find out that coach of their was the kill how about you? like i said,i cant rmember for sure if or not thats what i thought back then but i believe so i think, you?
Well we had the coach killer with fire boy. I think this one was a coach too. The problem lies in the writers not introducing the relationships between the girls in past episodes. They just threw it at us. The dad being suicidal then turning killer, almost taking 4 kids out, is not believable.

i think we will find out but i cant remember for sure. yeah your right, she wasn't dating him to make clark jeoulos,he WAS jeolous but that was not her intent. you mentioned you did not think that he was Lanas type,i dont remember much about him but we have to assume he was in a class with her and she liked him because he probably did really nice things for her, was she there on a date with him? its been a while so i cant remember if it was a date with him or he just happened to be there at that booth when Lana was there.

Come on, Lana with carnival boy? He may as well been guessing weights. Look at the rest of the guys she has been interested in—guys going somewhere. I know she will hook up with Lex later, but don’t know how. Lol I don’t have time to peek.

She and co. just stumbled onto him. Lana was nice to everyone.

Didnt the episode start out with Lana and Chloe out just with each other and she just happened to be talking with the carnival boy at the booth? It was just here and chloe wasnt it? it wasnt chloe,Lana AND carnival boy on THREE date as i remember was it?

I remember them bumping into him.

I need to get around to dinner.
I might watch a couple more but it would much later. I’ll see you tomorrow.

Naw I wouldnt say Jimmy was a sidekick the same pete is.Jimmy was very much part of the newspaper staff at the daily bugle same as Lois is,I notice you arent aware of some of the facts about the comics, did you know that perry white was the publisher of the daily planet?

yes batman had a sidekick, that was robin,he was in the classic 60's show with batman that starred adam west as the caped crusader.

here is a picture of robin to jog your memories.

Wow Lana did her own digging and confronted Adam with proof of his death. She is not frightened by the walking dead. Not only that, she wants to understand the circumstances. I can definitely see her life will be in danger anytime now.

In this episode you have 2 friends asking Clark and Lana to keep secrets.

Pete could’ve cared less that he almost hit Clark and his mother. Is he under some spell too?

Kryptonite powered cars? Pete feels he has to compete with Clark’s special powers but will never measure up.

Did you notice the green light reflecting off all those bystanders during the race. Is that a hint that kryptonite brings on disorder and promotes crime without regrets?

Clark seems sad and realizes how much Pete’s friendship means to him and he’s having to deal with his father’s heart attack. That’s the kind of stress that should make Clark change his perspective on life. Just thinking. Running into Lana doesn’t help much either.

Chloe pulls lex into her new snooping activity. Even Lex reminds her it is illegal to go through Adam’s medical records. Lex confronts the research biatch and she blows him off. Lex being Lex pulls her funding. Touché! He is willing to hire her to do research if she only tells him what those cells do.

So Clark steal’s lex’s car to help Pete. Clark’s saves the day by preventing the car explosion and now a person has died. All this falls on Clark’s shoulders.

John being home now seems to anchor the show. I didn’t realize that Clark not having his dad as a soundboard leaves the audience with a certain hopelessness. The advice John gives Clark will carry him through his life. He basically tells him to do what is best. John also admits Jo rel affected his heart.

Clark breaking away from Pete was him thinking it was best. However, it seems he is being a hypocrite in that Pete stood by him through all his character changes and still kept his secret.

No I wasn’t aware. I never read the comics. That was clever.

I clearly remember robin. He must have been the butt of every joke at parties. I started laughing at the archaic cartoon intro. But tom a Jerry will never get old. It fits right in with what most of us watch on x. Lol

this is actually episode 13.

you are very good at predicting things miss butterfly,:biggrin:you will find out just how spot on you are very soon in the next couple of upcoming episodes.

This was a unique episode in the fact i think it is the ONLY one that EVER focused and evolved around pete. as i have said many times it is a tragedy of justice that the show pretty much ignores pete the whole time and acts like he is not there and puts so much screentime into Chloe instead, a character who was NEVER even in the superman comics.sure would like to tell these creators of his show what jerks they were for doing that.

yeah sense he is around the krypotonite all the time now,it affects your personality in a bad way.

No I did not notice that on the kryptonite off those bystanders in the race,i will have to pay attention to that next time, now that you mention it i think you are correct, that it promotes crime without regrets,we have seen many episodes in the past where people who are not bad people do harm to others and its because they are always around the kryptonite. the writers are not very consistant because as you recall,in the first seasonLLana was always wearing a necklace that had krptonite in it but it did not affect her, these writers have shown so many times they dont know what the hell they are doing.:uhoh3:

John as always, delivers in a very believable performance making you feel sorry for him what he is going through.

I have to totally disagree with you that clark stealing the car that the person dying falls on clarks shoulders for him at fault,It falls all on PETES shoulders because clark had no choice,he had to make the car lose gas or pete was going to die and clark had no way of knowing that the guy would die once he saved pete by fixing it so the car did not get to 100 mph. That is all on Pete because clark asked him to stop at one point and he did not listen and kept on. Yeah for Pete of all people to not care less about almost killing his mom,i think its pretty safe to say the kryptonite has him under a spell.

Have to disagree here with you as well on clark being a hypocrite. As I just said,it was because of PETE that someone died. Pete stood by clark during that time but clark never caused anybody to die during that time, major difference here.

Because of petes irresponsibility and insistance to feel like he had to compete with clark for special powers and lying to clark about stopping, someone died, thats ALL on petes shoulders,he totally caused that.I would have been pissed at pete as well for lying to me and also waked away at the end. Yes clark COULD have robbed a bank to save petes life but clark knows right from wrong and he cant do that. Lex being Lex of course would not help clark out so clark at the last second with no time, had to think of someway to save pete.

I wouldnt say he stole the car, just BORROWED it without his permission the fact he returned it. we could tell from what Lex said,he knew clark BORROWED from him without his permission without saying so basically telling someone took his car and then later returned pretending he did not know it was clark, very clever of lex to give clark a HINT he knew he BORROWED his car without his permission basically stealing it i guess without telling clark he knew it was him.

I enjoyed the way this episode wrapped up at the end.for a change, one of the more realistic episodes, I mean that by the fact some of these episodes are TOTALLY unrealistic like with the way clark has acted towards chole and Lana in the past when he wore the red ring,he acted like some total crazy nut and was hostile towards them and we all suppose to believe its all okay and and we can move on and forgive and forget the whole thing when its not like that in the REAL world at all,ONLY IN THE MOVIES.

This one however, for a change did NOT do that and kudos to them for that.I liked the idea that after pete tried to get things patched up with clark he says to clark-so you want to shoot dome hoops? and clark puts the ball down and walks away and says-Not today pete. as I said,KUDOS to the writers for that. That was far more realistic to that real world with clark walking away from pete and going into his house than other episodes in the past where Lana forgives clark and everything is just all hunky dory and we can forget and move on. Uh uh,thats not how it works.one more time,ONLY IN THE MOVIES.

Pete caused clark to have someone die because he had to save pete from being killed and because someone died, clark is rightfully so angry and pissed off at pete for not only causing someone to die because of his INSISTANCE to keep racing but also forcing clark to LIE to his friend Lex and basically STEAL from him as well and does not want to talk to him the rest of the day because of that, good for clark,.

Had the writers had clark say something like -"Sure,first one who gets to 21 wins" and they are started playing,i would have been pissed off and i would have hated this episode and would never watch that scene again.Well done by the writers FINALLY for once:thup::yes_text12::dance:

Its about damn freaking time they got realistic.

Yeah, the writers need to be more consistent.

Clark didn’t know about the bomb in the car till after he stole lex’s car. Borrowing without permission is stealing because he drove it away from lex’s personal property. Our choices/actions have consequences. I thought for sure Lex would give him the money.

John doesn’t look like he is telling the whole story about Jo rel and he seems to have accepted whatever comes with the transformation,(short as it may have been.) He now has his son alive and back to himself. It would have been easier to kryptonite him and break the ring with a hammer, but we needed the drama.
Lex knew it was him but Clark should have been upfront about it.

We all expected Clark to play ball and to hear a great song. Not!

Yes, the writers get it right sometimes.

Ram, I won’t be able to watch one tonight. Something came up and tied my day up. I’ll get back tomorrow.

yeah i thought for sure Lex would give him the money as well. Its not like clark always asks him for favors so i was dissapointed in Lex. yeah you are so correct, they needed the drama so that was why this time they did not have him smash the ring with a hammer. yep, like i said, good for clark for putting the ball down and walking away from pete and going inside the house letting him know he did not want to talk to him the rest of the day,yes the writers do get it right at times once in a while.this was one of them.

S3 14

Alicia’s obsession with Clark looks deadly. Her dad confirmed that she might be a problem for suitors. Nonetheless her parents fear her. Her psycho actions also put Lana at risk.
The yearbook thing was a bit much. The writers seem to think we need to be spoon fed..probably millennials. lol

Lana is dealing with Adam and Lex is coming into the picture as her hero more often.

It was funny how Chloe stated she went Glenn Close (basic instinct) on him. Lol

Wow, Clark told Chloe about her powers.

Alicia heard clark’s parents talk about his kryptonite weakness and uses it against him. The room he trapped her in was painted with red lead paint symbolizing danger? It’s funny because red is used as a symbol for love, passion, etc.

He covers her in lead paint too. That was brilliant.

Clark has grown up and now thinking about not ever finding someone to share his life with. His mom seals that thought when she tells him that there is no one like him.

Lionel the murderer is seen in full bloom. He orchestrated Adam hooking up with Lana to get info on Clark. That failed so now he is going to let Adam die by holding back his life saving drugs. He has no respect for life.

S3e15

At first they had us wondering if it was organ harvesting. John going under was a sure sign he would end up being a possible donor.

I still haven’t figured out what Adam and the kid’s brother are going to be used for. Adam is still in a chamber….being kept alive. Just lab rats?

There was a lot of action and suspense as in the days of the ER series. The helicopter episode was awesome.

So the Kent’s and Lex know what Lionel did.

Lex goes to Lana and pretends he knows nothing, except that he will keep Adam away from her. So I guess we know he will keep him caged.

There were tender moments when John leaves the hospital. He makes Clark feel loved, but in this episode we see new facial expressions frm Clark. He does it 3 times—that Ferris beuller look when his mom and dad stand over his bed and tell him to rest. Very cute. He does it again with Lana and one other time.

Lana asks about the content in the vial. Clark lies to her but she seems to know more. But how?

I mentioned how the last episode FINALLY got realistic with clark walking away from pete putting the basketball down and walking inside his house telling him he did not want to shoot hoops with him for the day after he asked him to. the realism extended into THIS episode as well at the beginning. In the first five or 10 minutes of the show we see pete come up to clark and say something on the lines of-clark i know your mad at me still and were not on the best of speaking terms now. well done, there have been so many others in the past where its all wrapped at the end of that episode and all forgotten about and everything is hunky dory and forgotten about where they should go after realism and have Lana and chloe mad at clark for at LEAST another episode as they did with this one.i cant say well done enough times here the fact this is the first time they EVER got it right.

Yeah Alicias obsession with clark indeed looks deadly alright, reminds you a lot of fatal attraction the same result at the end where BOTH michael douglass and his wife both almost got killed by her cause she could not get what she wanted, same here, both clark and Lana both almost got killed by her. boy that was scary when she pulled out the kreptonite and made clark weak.

actually it was FATAL ATTRACTION not Basic Instinct where Alicia went Glenn Close on Lana and clark.hate to say it but chole hit the nail on the head there.

adam is as crazy as alicia is it turns out,i always knew there was something not right about him,he just always had a scary look about him.the guy is a stalker same as her recruited by Lionel to try and find out what clarks secret is which finally puts to rest that Lionel knew clarks secret when he was faking being blind the fact he hired Adam to TRY and find out clarks secret, something he would not be doing obviously if he knew.

yeah that was quite a shock to see that Lionel orchestrated adam hooking up with Lana,we once again see how evil he is the fact he is going to let him die now.

didnt that give you a great laugh for the day when Alicia transported into clarks room and they got half naked and john and martha walked in and he sees his dad first so he says out loud-dad! :abgg2q.jpg:

did that ever happen to you and YOUR sons?:abgg2q.jpg:

had it just been YOU and your husband was on vacation what would YOU have said to your son?:abgg2q.jpg:

also,if this show was just coming out now right this moment and you were in your younger days and had CHILDREN, would you allow the to watch this one?:abgg2q.jpg: how old would you tell them they have to be before they can view it? LOL

yeah its strange that adam has still been kept alive after he failed with his mission to learn more about who clark kent is through Lana. Yeah that helicopter scene was indeed exciting.

we get to see how fast clark can really run the fac it only takes seconds for a person to fall down and yet clark zooms in and out within seconds before he hits the ground.

It was nice seeing clark get scared when the kid said he was going to use his fathers organ to save his brother.

it was touching how John was reluctant to go ahead with the operation till clark told him how he important to him he is as a father.very touching moment between the two great actors.
