Smallville seasons one through four the best.

oh and elusive butterfly, I GUARANTEE you are in for a real treat when you watch episode six,you are going to LOVE this one,as you will find out it is a VERY unique episode, definetely not your average run of the mill smallville episode. for sure something different.

great episode, matter of fact i also rank it in my top 20 faves just as i did the dream episode 4.. you can see why i am thrilled with season 3 just as i was with season 2 as well, great espisodes we have seen so far as you can agree, as our most the rest of the season onward as well :) .:dance:

really you have NEVER seen this show before? do you have hulu? if so,you can start watching it there.otherwise dont know what to tell you.

Looks like it is on to season 3 episode 6 Elusivebutterfly

hey i mentioned earlier that through this show, they gave some unknown band members recognization such as the group that sings the opening theme song SAVE ME by REMY ZERO.

well here is a live performance of the band that sings the thrilling song at the end of this episode

which is WHY i have watched that clip at the end of SMALLVILLE with perry white several dozens of times over and over again because as you already know without me telling you so earlier you figuring it out on your own,i associate the song with the scene in the episode of the show so i HAVE to watch this scene over and over otherwise its not thrilling to me just listening to the song itself.

im guessing i am not the only one out there odd that way, that others do the same as well.some people when you tell them that, they think your weird  but YOU understand.

I know you know me well enough that it does not surprise you in the least when i hear this song on the radio i automatically think of clark talking to perry watching him get on the bus and drive off into the sunset.

forgot to also mention butterfly, you asked if i think of the scenes of the smallville episodes when i hear the songs on the raide that had that scene in it like the time after time episode,,not only do i do that but i ALSO hear the DIOLOGUE going on in my head like in this case, the words clark speaks to perry and vise versa,i bet you already knew that though am i right?

you know, the funny thing is had i NEVER seen this episode of perry before and i was just listening to this live performance by the band singing the song for the first time,i would not get goosebumps hearing them perform as i do,i ONLY get goosebumps because i think of the scene with my hero clark and perry really weird huh? :auiqs.jpg:

to give a you a treat, you can watch the clip here again and after that,

Now go to the live performance, what a deal i gave ya.

well thats great that you have been able to move on from your ex husband, not me with my dog,i have been around dozens and dozens of dogs over the years and they have all been unique in their own way but this was not just any other dog,i had never had one or been around one that was so human like she was so its not like losing just another dog which is hard enough as it is.

these lyrics they so much hit home with me so i cant believe they dont with you with your ex husband as well

YOU GAVE MY LIFE TO ME

THE FINEST YEARS I KNEW,WERE THE ONES I SPENT WITH YOU.

I WOULD GIVE UP MY LIFE,MY HEART,MY HOME

I WOULD GIVE EVERYTHING I OWN,JUST TO HAVE YOU BACK AGAIN,JUST TO TOUCH YOU ONCE AGAIN.

just to have her back again,to be able to touch her once again,i really WOULD give up EVERYTHING I own for that,i am flabbergassted you dont feel the same when it comes to him.im speechless.oh well.im glad for you,at least one of us has recovered.

I am speechless you equated a dog’s death to a dead husband’s. I felt like you were judging me, I would advise against that.

I will now explain why you feel that way about your dog. I fought with my cat over the tv. She had to watch her AI shows before bed so by the time she was done, I couldn’t watch mine because my stuff irritated her. Yes, very human like.

So the hardest death to bear is that of a child. Your dog was like your child and her being female, well, it hit worse. You’ve never had kids so this is as close to the pain as possible.

Walking in Memphis is a great song. Upbeat.

S3 ep 6

That was quite a different episode. Clark’s acting was superb and Lana was at her best.

They looked like they both wanted to keep kissing. Her eyes kept looking at his lips— a key sign a woman wants to be kissed. And they did “it”! Cover my eyes.

My favorite scene is when he lifts her towards the sky. It was Peter panish and magical. Look at Clark’s pupils before that. He thinks she looks beautiful.

Tate hired lockland to kill the drifter. He loved her.

In the hospital hall, Lana has a realization about letting go when someone doesn’t love you after lexter mentions it. Watch her eyes.

So we don’t know who ordered the explosions that killed Lionel’s parents? I also find it hard to believe Lionel would bury that past without revenge.

Great ending, the Kent’s were chosen to raise Clark.

this one for me was one of the top five BEST endings ever obviously.

yeah like i said, anytime i hear that song on the radio now i automatically think back to that scene with clark and perry and i can hear their diologue.same with its just an ordinary day with clark and pete playing basketball together.

one of the top five best endings EVER.well done.

they did indeed do IT. you are not along on that favorite scene, that is a fave of many smallville fans as well. The producers did a bad job,,they had Tate make a brief appearance as the sherriff in season two,if you dont have the memory that i do,many are not going to remember that though, they wont connect the dots how his corruption led him from sherrif to mayor

i will have to watch her eyes when i rewatch the episode

Nice change seeing an episode where the age of time takes place like in the 50's i believe? coold to see them go into the past and we get to see clark and Lana with a look we have NEVER seen them have before. for sure quite a different look for Lana huh?

yeah great ending indeed.

i see you found out what i said to be true that it was unique different episode, not your average run of the mill smallville episode. yeah clark and Lanas acting were supurb indeed.

so i assume you will be looking at episodes 7 and 8 this weekend?

Just notes again. Just got done shampooing carpet.

Season3 ep7

So Clark is jealous.

Magnet boy would never be her type.

I don’t buy that she wouldn’t know wrong from right. She abandoned her shop, stole money, and was willing to skip town with a freak. Totally unbelievable. Someone’s values don’t get easily broken down.

Chloe admits she tried to dig up stuff on Lionel to use as leverage. She is showing her smarts and courage to protect herself and her father. That’s one redeeming episode.
Lex is protecting Chloe? Here we see just how much he fears Lionel’s response to threats. Lionel must be a monster. You’ve been trying to warn me.

How many times is Lana gonna tell Clark she loves him only to get struck down. Then Clark says he doesn’t expect her to wait forever as if he was going to make it happen someday.

S3 ep8

Oh Morgan is back with a face change. Wow he and Lionel were working on getting the insurance off his parent’s death. They split the insurance money. I told you lionel would never let that go. He was in on it all along.

The psychiatrist shows up as does his bodyguard, alive and well. It is ever so much like Total Recall when Arnold’s psychiatrist tries to make him take the pill, only he sees sweat on his forehead which shouldn’t be seen in a dream sequence.

Clark understands that lex has been drugged but lex’s paranoia clouds realities.

Boy, this gets so complicated. It ends with Lex in a rubber room and no clear answer who is wholly responsible.

Lana now understands why Clark keeps her at bay.

i meant to add on here that they had SHERRIF tate in an episode of season two to show his rise in power from sherrif to mayor but as i said, the thing i dont like about it is if you dont have the memory i have, most people are not going to remember that so they SHOULD have waited till the beginning of season 3 and gave him his first appearance that way he is fresh in everybodys mind and they DO remember him from before, sheesh, how writers can be so stupid at times.

the other thing i enjoy about that episode is the realism in it how corrupt people in power can abuse their power and rise up to higher positions of power, reminds me an awful lot of the clintons, how they despite all the documented evidence of clinton being involved in drug smuggeling and doing drugs and raping women he STILL rose from governor of a state to the top position PRESIDENT.

EP 7
Well that WAS the reason she was dating that guy to make clark jeolous but i dont think it worked,he was concerned for her because he knew how she was manipulating her with his power he had.

well kryptonite makes you do things you would never do when you are youself same as it makes clark do things he would not do when he is himself when he is on the red krpytonite like when he was robbing banks and would even toss jonathan around like a ragdoll so i didnt give that a seond thought myself.

well i kinda figured out even from just season one that Lionel was a monster from that episode where everybody was trapped in that building Lionel luther owned and Lionel was not only willing to risk having clark killed by shutting down the building cutting off the air supply but risk killing his OWN SON as well. that to me was when i took notice this was indeed a very evil man willing to risk killing not only clark but his OWN SON as well.

remember that episode where martha comes up to Lionel and says-my son is in there. and he then says-so is mine? after everybody gets out Lex later confronts Lionel and says to him-Dad you almost had me killed. The Lionel trys to convince himself he did not almost kill him that Lex was responsible by saying-No Lex,you almost had yourself killed. cause he went into the plant to try and help resolves the situtation sense asshole Lionel was not doing anything?

yeah my INITIAL hunch was CORRECT that i had back then when the episode FIRST came out that i suspected LIonel was a murderer. Knowing that Lionel was even willing to risk killing his own son Lex way back in season one,i just KNEW he wasnt talking about MEMORIES when he said to morgan edge on the docks in the season premiere-THERE ARE A LOT OF MEMORIES BURIED HERE.I JUST "KNEW" he was eluding to BODIES and wasnt being literal when he said memories. did not take a genuis to figure that one out.

see if you have the great memory I MYSELF have, well then its pretty easy to see how evil l Lionel is,doesnt take a special talent Elusive butterfly.LOL

yeah you had to like it when Lana told clark-Im not going to keep waiting.one of these days someone is going to come along that is right for me and you are going to have to deal with that. Great speech she gave him in short she was telling him-i know you are in love with me but you had your chances and you blew it and now you are going to have to face the consequences when i find that right person out there for me.well done Lana.

yeah i kinda vaguely remember you saying that about Lionel. was k=quite a shock to see Morgan back with a face and voice change huh?

yeah that is kinda like total recall.

Yeah unforunately it took that bad accident with the horse for Lana to understand why clark keeps her at bay and was hesitant about having a relationship with her when says at the end-I ALWAYS THOUGHT YOU WERE PARANOID BUT NOW I THINK YOU WERE RIGHT,I DONT THINK WE SHOULD SEE EACH OTHER ANYMORE.

Well looks like you will get episodes 9 and 10 done this weekend as well.:2up:

I don’t think she dated him to make Clark jealous. She obviously questioned her own acceptance of a proposed date. She tried to call it off and magnet boy touched her again.

I do recall now. Lionel would have sacrificed Lex. If Lex turns into a monster it will be on Lionel.

Yeah this was the first time Clark had extreme jealousy. He stalked her. Lana’s hope for love is dwindling before our eyes. Even Clark’s parents remind him that it was his choice not to pursue her.

On those bodies buried there. Will we find out who they were?

These were straight forward.

S3 e 9

Lionel killed the psyc’ and wants to fry his son’s brain. I can’t wait for karma to catch up with him. Lex tried to save Clark risking all but saw Clark’s powers in action. Clark risked all to save his friend. That sounds like a bond. What will lead to the dismantling of this friendship?

Lex lost his memory for that time period only?

Clark wants revenge.

S3 e 10

Clark loses his sight but gains super hearing. Chloe was helping Lionel and Clark knows it. Then he confronts Chloe for her spying on him to aid Lionel.

Lana and Clark finally have an honest conversation. He offers her what she had longed for, then she walks away.

She later says it is the new rehab guy, but her crying at the conclusion lets Clark know it is not true and that she still loves him.

Meanwhile Chloe gets fired.

As we all knew, his powers come back and saves Pete.

Lex fires Chloe’s dad to save Clark.

Oh, Lois is Chloe’s cousin. Oooh.

This episode instantly catches your attention. The “Clark and Lana attempt to kill Chloe ” is way off the charts. It must’ve sent ripples through your skin, especially Lana using an axe, terminator style.

Using email to “ultra” a decent brain is futuristic for the time for now we have tik toc and AI for that. Life imitating art.

Chloe got it from everybody. lol. I guess the writer wanted her to pay her dues so we could forgive her. But Martha and John? Really?

Chloe finally agrees to stop snooping on Clark, while Lana gives rehab guy a place to stay near her. I guess Lana sees potential love with him.

Lex wants his memory back to see why so many people had targets over their head.

S3 e12

So the kid sees the future and Clark alters the future by saving s suicidal man. The kid sees everyone’s death except Clark’s.

Adam is on the radar now and Lana has second thoughts about allowing him to stay in the room upstairs. Lex is investigating Adam but simply tells Lana to trust her intuition.

Lana shows signs of regret. Chloe noses in and finds the needle and whatever drug Adam is taking. Ultimately, Lex wants something to hold against Adam so he can get the 10 days of memory back. I think Lana’s love for Clark prompted her to invite Adam to begin with. She knows it will never happen between them and is sorta settling on Adam.

i think we will find out but i cant remember for sure. yeah your right, she wasnt dating him to make clark jeoulos,he WAS jeolous but that was not her intent. you mentioned you did not think that he was Lanas type,i dont remember much about him but we have to assume he was in a class with her and she liked him because he probably did really nice things for her, was she there on a date with him? its been a while so i cant remember if it was a date with him or he just happened to be there at that booth when Lana was there.

yeah we go to see more of just how evil Lionel really is,again no surprise he was willing to take the risk of brianwashing Lex even though he knew there was a great dangr it would turn him into a vegatable,no surprise there at all because as i said,he showed us even in season one he was willing to kill his own son just to preserve secrets of his getting out. yeah and he kills the lady psy as well when after being blackmailed by Lionel to drug Lex her conscience bothers her and trys to tell the truth only to be killed by him,too little too late.

s3 ep10

Bi tch chloe was helping Lionel and clark knows it and STILL wants to be friend with her? only in the movies.

wait a minute, I remember LIONEL fires choles dad because Lionel thinks Chloe was eves dropping on a conversation he was having with someone when he told them he only hired Lex as a pencil sharpener and clark was responsible for her dad being fired because he told Lex about it and in hopes that Lex would confront his father and let him know he knew he was not really interested in him having a serious job there and unfortuaetly for clark, his plan backfired on him because Lionel assumed chole was evendropping on the convesation and told Lex. thats what happened, remember?

yeah I remember that how when clark finally gave Lana what she wanted, an honest conversation, she walked away. guess she figured it was just a little too late, that he waited too long i guess.

I am surprised you did not mention the part where clark when sitting in the truck with Lana, trys to get back together with him touching her hand.Lana has made it quite clear though she has moved on and is dating Adam now and does not want to go down that road again with clark so she pulls away. That was a VERY key moment in the entire SERIES,we never saw that one coming, you would never expect Lana to do that the way she has been so loyal to him despite the way he has treated her so many times.

Yeah no wonder they introduced chloe in the smallville series as a reporter on the school staff,i guess they wanted to use that excuse for Lois later coming on the showthe reporter connection. Chloe i later learned, was never even a character in the comics, thats why smallville was not ANYWHERE near as good a show as it COULD have been because while i am not against having a character in a movie or show that wasnt int he comics as a regular, that character should NEVER take top priority of a character that WAS in the comics pete.pete should have FAR more screentime than that bi tch chole as i know you agree? these writers totally screwed with the comic and betrayed it.

yeah it was ESPECIALLY shocking at the beginning see clark try and mow down chole, chole should know better by now that living in smallville people are not themselves half the time so to she should of all people, should have known better clark did not possses all his faculties at that time.

Using email to “ultra” a decent brain is futuristic for the time for now we have tik toc and AI for that. Life imitating art.

INDEED.

clark dont believe chole for a second that she will stop, you should know better.

This episode gives you ANOTHER glimpse into Lex that he does indeed have it in him that he could go down the dark side and be evil in the future because no GOOD person with a good heart would go within a 100 yards of somebody that was a murderer. you would never do that and neither would I under any circumstances.

yeah I think you are right about him settling for Adam. I cant rmember for sure or not but as i hink i remember,i was VERY urprised to find out that coach of their was the kill how about you? like i said,i cant rmember for sure if or not thats what i thought back then but i believe so i think, you?

wow were already done with ep 12,were halfway doen with season 3,pretty doon before we know it,we will be done discussing the smallville series sense we will be ending it after season 4.

At the end Lex is talking to Clark and tells him that he spared Clark when by firing Chloe’s dad.

Yes I did mention the conversation in the truck. He was willing to have a life with her. Of course he is blind and has lost his powers so he is no longer a threat to her. She knows something will come up again and she is afraid she will suffer the consequences again. After all, she had almost lost her life in the horse stall.

So at this point Lionel has tried to kill all the main characters except the sheriff. Lol
