I read recently that abortions have fallen 50%, back to levels from 1971, which is actually prior to Roe v. Wade. Some teenaged mother stats are going down as well. Those are due to better sex education and better access to birth control. So if we keep doing what we're doing, maybe someday we won't be having this conversation. Abortion will not be used for birth control, only for medical reasons.

In Europe universal healthcare is available and it is quite good. Health care is too expensive in this country. There are people literally dying in this country becasue they couldn't afford treatment. Healthcare should be a human right and not for business.

It would have been, if Obama had his way, but he made the big mistake of compromising with the Republicans and the insurance companies, and ended up with a huge unwieldy mess.
