The U.N.’s controversial agency for Palestinian refugees is making a remarkable, if not unprecedented, attempt to censor an Israeli journalist.

On Thursday, Almog Boker with Israel’s Channel 13 posted a remarkable report to social media: “One of the abductees, held for nearly 50 days in an attic, reveals he was held by a UNRA teacher — a father of ten children.” (Boker was referring to UNRWA, the U.N. Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees that critics say has enabled Hamas terrorism and even hosted rocket-launch sites.) The hostage, he added, was locked up, malnourished, and not given proper medical care. Boker did not name the person who said this, but the information presumably comes from one of the hostages released during the recent cease-fire.

Fears were raised Wednesday [Nov. 29] for the youngest hostage held in the Gaza Strip after Hamas claimed that 10-month-old Kfir Bibas had been killed alongside his brother and mother.
Israel’s military said it was assessing the claim, while relatives said they were “waiting for the news to be confirmed or hopefully refuted soon” about the family members, who have become leading faces of the hostage crisis.
During the Hamas massacre of October 7, the Bibas family, including 10-month-old Kfir Bibas, his 4-year-old brother Ariel Bibas, and their mother Shiri Bibas — were kidnapped alive into Gaza,” the Israel Defense Forces said in a statement.
“The barbarism and cruelty of Hamas is on full display to the world. IDF representatives spoke with the Bibas family following the recent reports and are with them at this difficult time. The IDF is assessing the accuracy of the information,” it added.
It follows a claim by the military wing of Hamas, which said earlier in the day that the three hostages had been killed in Gaza as the result of Israeli bombing.
NBC News could not verify the claim. Israel has accused Hamas of using civilians as human shields.
“Our family is updated on the latest Hamas publication. We are waiting for the news to be confirmed or hopefully refuted soon by military officials,” said the Bibas family in a statement released by the Hostages and Missing Families Forum.
It added: “We thank the people of Israel for the warm embrace but ask to maintain our privacy at this complex time.” Footage of kibbutz Nir Oz near the Gaza border as she clutched her two young children has become one of the lasting images of the terror attack, and the subsequent plight of the hostages inside Gaza.
At 10-months old, Kfir is believed to be the youngest captive.
Shiri Bibas’ husband, Yarden, was kidnapped alongside her and their children, but there was no information immediately available about his well-being….

Report: UN Is Starving Palestinians to Save Terror-linked UNRWA

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has reportedly told other UN agencies to reject funding and tasks that ordinarily would fall to the UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), which has been linked to Palestinian terror.

As Breitbart News has reported, many donor countries suspended donations to UNRWA after more than a dozen of its employees were found to have participated in the Hamas terror attack of October 7. In addition, UNRWA has been faulted over the years for indoctrinating Palestinian children to hate Israel and Jews, and the very existence of the agency perpetuates the idea that Palestinian “refugees” — several generations later — will return to a destroyed Israel.

Israel has said that it sees no future for UNRWA in a post-Hamas Gaza. It is encouraging other UN agencies, which are not infested with terrorists or suffused with terrorist ideology, to perform the functions that UNRWA performs in Gaza.

The UN is trying to resist that idea, according to an investigative report by Colum Lynch at DevEx.com:

Secretary-General António Guterres has urged the heads of the United Nations’ principal relief agencies, including the World Food Programme and UNICEF, to rebuff appeals by Israel and the United States to undertake work currently carried out by the world body’s beleaguered Palestinian refugee agency.

The outreach pits Guterres against the Biden administration, which is mounting a campaign to persuade the U.N.’s main relief organizations to take over some of the functions of the U.N. Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, or UNRWA, the decades-old Palestinian aid agency that Israel has accused of complicity in Hamas’ crimes, reflecting concerns that its financial future is endangered.

Hillel Neuer, executive director of UN Watch, a watchdog organization that monitors the UN and its institutions. raised the issue Thursday:

Israel has said that it is capable of delivering “unlimited” amounts of aid to Gaza, but that UNRWA is failing to distribute it properly to civilians in Gaza, and that much of it is being hijacked by Hamas terrorists or by armed gangs.

Israeli intelligence revealed Monday night (March 4) that more than 450 terrorists belonging to terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip, mainly Hamas, were — and in some cases still are — also employed by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) tasked with providing humanitarian aid and educational services to the Palestinian Authority and Gaza populations.

The IDF has revealed two recordings incriminating two UNRWA teachers who took part in the October 7 massacre.

The first recording is of a terrorist working as an Arabic teacher at an UNRWA school in ‘Deir al-Balah’ describing his entry into Israeli territory and stating that he is holding female Israeli hostages.

“We have female captives (sabaya). I caught one,” an UNRWA “teacher” says. “We entered. I saw… They shot them in the eyes. I saw two, me and another guy from our group… Wow, what they did. Listen, they did actions for liberation Inshallah (Allah willing).”

The second recording features an additional terrorist who is also an elementary school teacher at an UNRWA school in Khan Yunis, telling his family he is inside Israeli territory.

“I’m inside, I’m inside with the Jews. Wait for me on the street… on Tamran Street.”

The speakers in both recorded conversations sound exhilarated, joyous, proud of their actions.

Terror organizations in the Gaza Strip routinely exploit international aid organizations for terror purposes and in the case of UNRWA, the organization has been enmeshed with Hamas for decades, adopting its genocidal aspirations of annihilating its Israeli neighbors into its school curricula.
