Conservatives are opposed the privacy rights with regard to abortion.

Two points you need to answer first. 1. Is a minor entitled to the rights of an adult and therefore autonomy from their parent's responsibilities and rights? 2. where is the right to privacy in the constitution? I fail to see that in the amendments.

Conversely, should your money be used to promote abstinence by religious groups seeking to cut down on teenage pregnancy, or just to social workers doling out condoms against parental wishes, giving tacit permission to statutory rape?

We're also opposed to different species marriage. Aren't you? How about polygamy? Group 'marriages'? Maybe marrying little girls? are you opposed to any of that?

Secondly, a sexual act is not the same as a genetic trait. The two are not equivalent. Marriage is, in essence a religious ceremony by nature and you're just trying to push your religion, or hatred there of on the churches by law. If you want the legal rights of marriage, fine, prepare a contract and have it entered into law at the courthouse. Fine, done, next?

Your examples are non issues compared to my examples.

You want to tell me where I can worship.
You want to tell me who to give to.
You want to tell me who I must hire based on skin color.
You want to tell me how much or little I may be paid.

There's a lot wrong in her statement…we'll address Bachmann's claim that she's only constitutionally obligated to provide the number of people in her household.

Here's what the Constitution actually says:

"Representation and direct taxes shall be apportioned among the several states which may be included within this Union, according to their respective numbers ... the actual enumeration shall be made within three years after the first meeting of the Congress of the United States, and within every subsequent term of ten years, in such manner as they shall by law direct."

So the Constitution itself does not contain any requirement, as Bachmann claims.

We draw your attention to the last clause, "in such a manner as they shall by law direct." The "they" in that sentence refers to members of Congress. They write laws about the content of the Census and require that people answer the questions.
