This thread just sparked the usual racist, I can post videos of whites fighting at HS sporting events, but they would just make excuses for it.

I live in NJ and we just had a case where a white HS wrestler went into the stands to fight with opposing fans. His father started it by going to fight with fans who were heckling. The wrestler followed his father and was videoed punching a young fan.

The state immediately banned the kid for the rest of the year but his parents went to court and a judge issued in injunction allowing him to wrestle. He won the state championship in his weightclass yesterday.

It’s a shame it had to come to this but there was something about the two weeks of drama surrounding Anthony Knox that won't ever sit right.

I used to run HS track and those batons were about 2 in diameter and hollow. They were made of plastic or thin aluminum
We used to whack each other with those batons when playing around.
I don’t see how they could do that much damage.

Usually when running a relay and someone was cutting in too close, you started throwing elbows.
Never saw anyone use a baton

It’s a school. Scholarly achievement is merit.

Athletes can't get into schools without passing entrance exams. They can't stay on scholarship without completing at least 24 hours of study each year. Athletic scholarships have given poor kids of all races the chance to get an education they would never have received and allowed them better upward mobility they would never have had. You wouldn't be against athletic scholarships if only whites were getting them.
