When the Reds lose the first game of a series they are 0-39 in winning the series
When the Reds trail after the 6th inning they are 0-25

Seams hard to believe don't it. I watch Reds baseball on dtv 661
and Hooked On Reds podcast. Both have given this statistic.

Same team but different players. So, the stats are just an interesting coincidence. My Braves stats look like a roller coaster over the years big highs dropping to big lows.

Those statistics probably reflect a deficiency in the lineup that can be obscured by things playing out differently. In order to come from behind for a win you have to have a couple hitters who come through in tough situations, and those players tend to end up on big-money teams.
